In the the third video, a very emotional McClintic tells Det.-Sgt. Smyth that Rafferty hit Tori with the hammer a "couple of times." Gowdey asks why she would have said that. "Because I could not accept that I was capable of committing something so heinous, he was the one that wanted to kidnap a child," she tells the court

"I wasn't being completely truthful at the time," McC testifies

McClintic continues to reaffirm that she killed Tori.

I am starting to think that either she really doesn't know whether she did it or not and is taking responsibility for reasons unknown, or she is taking responsibility because she said she would... some sort of misguided loyalty. I do believe that much of what she has said is true, but there is still a lot missing and she is still lying about something. Something isn't right.

It sounds to me like they are trying to create doubt in the mind of the jury as to which of the two <mod snip> killed TS. At this point if I was jury, I would think each in turn wielded the hammer. ??
