McClintic letter talks about exacting revenge against Muslim inmate "I will take his family hostage and make him watch" will torture family

With all of her hatred spewing all over the place I am actually starting to believe that she hated everyone and everything including herself.
She was a BIG talker and spewed to anyone who would listen all for the sole purpose of giving herself an identity. If people were afraid of her...she was somebody.
Her "stories or threats" gave her an identity. She became the only thing she knew to project...

The defense should be really careful with their tactics of trying to show how evil TLM is. They could be biting off more than they can chew. The jurors could actually be feeling sorry for TLM. They have been told about her upbringing and jurors may see her as a victim who was pent up with so much hatred and rage because of the horrible life she endured. The defense's tactic could really backfire on them. They will see MR as the instigator who took advantage of such a frail minded individual. I still believe he looked TLM up intentional to suit his sick plan. :moo:

  • We're in the process of uploading Terri-Lynne McClintic's videotaped confession to Police. It'll be available to view shortly.

The one thing I detest about trials is that sometimes they go on and on to make a point, sometimes dragging the same point for days taking up everyones time. I know the defense likes to rack their bill sky high but move on, point taken.

Gangs are all about profit: running weapons, drugs, sex trade, etc.
The violence is directed at rivel gang members or authority figures.

Does TLM have gang tats? No.
Does the jail have to keep her with her own gang kind? Not that we are aware of.

This gang stuff is only to shock the jury.

Thanks for that info KMouse. For anyone wanting some information about the Crips and Bloods:

So, is this MR's trial, or TLM's trial? What is the point with all these letters? The point is made, she has a violent past. That is a way of life in those juvenile detention centres. You are either tough (and intimidating), or you get beaten up. She wrote this stuff for shock value. So people would leave her alone. Why did she continue with the act outside of juvie? Because she made friends there that she knew she would lose if she didn't keep it up. The gang thing is more of the same.
I have known many people who went to juvenile detention centres. They are all like this. And claiming to be affiliated with a gang is also quite common. None of them really are. As I said, if you're not tough (or don't talk big and bad enough), you will be picked on. An ex told me about his life in one of these places. None of these letters shock me at all. In fact, I would have been more shocked if they did not exist.
What I would like to know is what it all has to do with MR and with Tori? TLM is a very disturbed woman. We already knew that. She was disturbed before she met Rafferty. Again, already known. Maybe I am missing the point?

:moo:

Exactly, the point was made over and over ... to spend the whole day rehashing must have bored the jurors.

Yep, this cross examination shows her as a violent, vengeful person. She was tough outside of custody as well considering it was a stabbing that sent her to prison. He's showing her as the planner of a possible vengeful attack against the entire family, even a "kid" that were responsible for putting her there. She sought out info from other inmates, hence, she's the leader, in control, and the one to plan it all out.

Oh! now I'm beginning to see where this is going. He is trying to show that TLM planned the kidnapping and murder--she took Tori because she had a bone to pick with the family. Just speculation and nothing against Tori's family. Afterall, it seem TLM gets angry quite easily.:moo:

There was no evidence presented to show she targeted Tori because she had a bone to pick with her family. And even if she did, what does that have to do with murdering an 8 year old child with the accused? Is that supposed to justify Tori's murder? I guess I'm not getting the defense going into irrelevant cross without proof.

Hey maybe MR will testify. Ya right. :jail:

Is there a transcript of the interview? I can't stand watching and listening to her.

IMO gangs such as the crips and bloods don't have much regard for human life period...not defending Hells Angels but they are much different IMO

Respectfully asking. Different is what way? Hells Angels drive Harleys? A gang is a gang is a gang. No matter what way you slice it, gangs are up to no good. They provide nothing positive to society. Examples: drugs, using and selling, murders, fighting, violence, fire starters. Typically the Crips and the Bloods don't randomly go out and kill someone with a cause. They may kill someone they are rivals with or someone who has wronged them. Hells Angels will kill anyone, drive by, random strangers, to suit their cause, climbing the ranks for an example. And when the bikers donate money to causes such as childrens hospitals, it's all dirty drug money or murder money they are donating. :moo:

Just saw the videotape of Det. Smyth's interrogation on CBCN TV - channel 16 on cogeco. Wasn't a very long video.

An hour. Watched and listened for 5 minutes and got sick to my stomach.

I watched all of 2 minutes of that interview. I don't believe a word of what she's saying. MOO

I followed the Homolka trial, but had to see her for myself to decide if she was being truthful. I spent a day at the trial and didn't believe a word of what she was saying. MOO

I just keep turning it off every five minutes, I really can't stand her sniffling for more than that.

Not only that but if she really is a gang member, there is no way she would be sitting up there testifying against anybody. No way. Especially knowing she is going back to the pen.:moo:

And if she was really that much into belonging to a big time gang she wouldn't have been living in the big town of Woodstock, kwim. :floorlaugh: She was a street smart girl and would've hiked her gang banging hiney outta Woodstock and headed for TO or better yet South Central LA. I hope there are no Bloods housed in the Kitchener detention centre. She might want to watch her hiney.:what: :moo:

The only thing missing here is the "Oscar"!!! All these tears don't fit the woman who so confidently walked onto Oliver Stephens School property, liked she owned it, abducted a little girl, stopped to buy a hammer and garbage bags and attended a rape and execution-style murder of an innocent little girl.

I must say though, very good acting trying to make us believe she has a scintilla of remorse.

Trying to pretend that she and TS were somehow, in a matter of hours, kindred spirits. This is just sickening and I hope the jury sees right through her. :moo:

IMO

Thanks so much to everyone who posted - I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to help, way over loaded at work lately. Just on page 3 here, but I did read the tweets by LFP for the day - seemed very few of them - and I'm wondering how the Crown did not ask how she got the items out of the trunk or when they were taken from the trunk. If that was asked and answered can anyone let me know?

Some of the unnecessary comments she made in her original interview they are watching, make me believe she was telling the truth then and Rafferty actually wielded the hammer. In either case I can't see a valid explanation. If she blamed him originally and he was guilty, why take the blame for him now? If she blamed him originally and he wasn't guilty, why change her story now? None of it makes sense. In the long run, I truly trust that they were both involved, both planned it, both committed this horror to sweet Tori and both need to suffer for it.
They should be allowed out of jail when Tori gets to walk down the aisle on her wedding day!

I have been lucky enough to attend a conference on the different gangs in Canada. I don't have notes on the Crips as they are not present where I live. Google is your friend.

TLM would fit the profile of somebody who would join a street level gang as she has a low level of education and a rotten home life.
I think at the most she may be a wannabee/hangaround.
I would think if she were a crips member she would NOT be taking the stand as a Crown witness. It would be pretty easy for LE to confirm that she is indeed a Crips member.

Lets just say she is/was. What is the point? Why would Mr. Niceguy hook up with a girl like that?
