Does anyone know anything at all about her bio father? Being raised by an addict and stripper is not going to instill the morals that society lives by. I am surprised she is still alive.

IIRC, I don't she knows who her father is. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I don"t recall reading anything about the bio dad, although her mother"s husband at the time she was adopted and his family did come forward to say that they were upset that TLM was like this as a teenager - as a small child she was apparently enchanting. I don't believe her adopted father has had much to do with her tho over the years.

My cousin became a stripper when she was seventeen ... blush ... she had one daughter that she raised herself. The girl has been surrounded by drugs and her mother's dealing for years ... it is a pitiful life because she is bright, taking courses towards law school, and wants to be a criminal lawyer. Is she well adjusted - no, but for all that she has been through she is a great personality. Just saying ...

She was in jail for stabbing a man .... she punched a cop... she had numerous fights in prison ... they don't allow the inmates to have hammers in prison, so I guess she never got the opportunity. I am just amazed that MR got out of there with his skull in one piece and all his parts intact!

Also: She assaulted her own mother ... twice. She stabbed a man and pled guilty for it. She has admitted she kidnapped and bludgeoned a young child to death. Etc., etc., etc. These are not gruesome fantasies, but proven facts.

After everything we've heard, even aside from her horrific fantasies of torture, I find it impossible to believe that anyone will have the slightest bit of sympathy or pity for this sociopath - especially the jury. Lots of people have lousy childhoods and don't go on to do all the despicable, unforgivable things that TLM has. She was, and probably always will be, a vicious, dangerous menace to society - never to be believed or trusted.

court resuming jury is coming back

The jury has returned.

Derstine asks McClintic about her Facebook profile. She says she determined the content of the page.

Derstine is questioning McClintic about some on-line tests she took on her Facebook page

Derstine says app results are random, but she chose to post them. She portrayed herself as "tough".

The test showed McClintic was prone to evil and murder, She said she posted it to show she was tough

Defence shows off McClintic's facebook pages - argues she was still portraying self as violent when Tori killed

Derstine suggests McClintic's criminal record is longer than originally portrayed in the trial. Includes credit card fraud in 2005.

The jury is back in the room and Derstine is continuing his cross-examination. Derstine says the "murder" quiz on Facebook could have been the result of a random calculation but McClintic chose to the results on her page. "
I was trying to portray myself as being tough," she testifies.

Carol adopted TLM when she was just an infant. Her mother worked with Carol, and wasn't keeping the baby. If I recall correctly, Carol wanted TLM, her husband not so much. Glad theysaved her from a bad adoptive home tho.

McClintic says she and her mother got into a fight. Her mother accused the man McClintic was living with of rape. He kicked her out.

McClintic got into a fight with her mother. Turned into a physical confrontation. "I just snapped"

McClintic explained she had argument with mother and boyfriend Said mother poked her, she got angry and "snapped"

Derstine says the facts of McClintic's guilty plea included blaming her mother for being fired, smashing a glass door and choking/punching

Derstine shows the jury a picture of McClintic's mother with a black eye.

Her profile picture was a shot of McClintic wearing crips gang colours. Derstine says that was posted after her transformation in prison.

Just curious, but do these people have no security on their Facebook accounts? How do LE, reporters, etc. get this Facebook information? Befriending under false pretenses, hacking?

Derstine is now showing McClintic's criminal record, which was entered in to evidence last week. McClintic says there are more charges she has faced but they do not appear on her record. The first entry includes two charges of assault, which Derstine says were a result of altercations with her mother.
