Her body was taken to Toronto. She was identified by dental records. Cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma to the head.

On July 20, Smyth went with the body to the coroner's office in Toronto. She was identified thru dental records

Smyth said he took time out to go to Tori's funeral - Crown is done - defense has no questions Smyth is excused

ID officer Gary Scoyne is back on the stand for his fourth round of testimony in the trial

I am thankful somebody like Smyth found Tori. Very thankful. As a seasoned police officer he would know scene of crime protocal. Better him than somebody like the shoe lady or some other person walking their dog.
In some way I see him as one of Tori's angels.

I agree.

In some ways, I see him as the angel of murdered women and children, bringing forth justice for them. :(

Smyth's involvement in the investigation on July 31st, after he attended Tori's funeral. No more questions from the crown.

No questions from Derstine. The crown has again called Identification Constable Gary Scoyne, who will provide photos from the scene.

The photos shown to jury are public exhibits but it is up to ind media organizations to decide what to publish

I'm not sure how a falsely accused would look in court as opposed to a guilty person, so I don't put much emphasis on that.

From the tweets, I gather the landmarks were easily viewable from the crime scene..............or were they only visible a distance away from the car, the rockpile and the route between them?

..Omg see what you mean matou...IMO no questions speaks volumes ...but that is my opinion!...Tori is finally found ...may she RIP!...robynhood

Not surprising. The defence is not disputing that he was there and helped put the body there. This is just factual information regarding the find.
