Now an overhead shot of the scene.

This is 3rd time Scoyne has testified this week. Court is now growing thru 96 slides on the Mount Forest area

Scoyne's slideshow consists of police photos and McClintic's drawings describing the crime scene

Showing the jury a photo board of the landmarks surrounding the scene.

Scoyne is identifying some aerial photos of the crime scene

I agree.

In some ways, I see him as the angel of murdered women and children, bringing forth justice for them. :(

,

He sure is a hero.

I'm not sure how a falsely accused would look in court as opposed to a guilty person, so I don't put much emphasis on that.

From the tweets, I gather the landmarks were easily viewable from the crime scene..............or were they only visible a distance away from the car, the rockpile and the route between them?

If you are referring to the observations that TLM was able to describe her surroundings very well, I think the point is that could indicate she spent a lot of time looking around as a posed to doing things while she was there. Moo

Smyth attended the autopsy too? Wow.

An officer always attends the autopsy. It's for chain of custody. As well the pathologist will point out evidence to the officer and tell them to take pictures etc. eg. "you should come take a picture of this".

Det Staff-Sgt Jim Smyth is like a TV cop, a real-life hero. If only there were more like him.

The next slide is another overhead view. Taken from a helicopter

Next slide shows the rock pile, taken from the helicopter.

Scoyne is identifying photos of the house at the end of the lane and other landmarks near the crime scene

Next series of slides the jury sees are same photos used during Smyth's testimony. Scoyne provides context.

Scoyne explaining where the scene is, relative to the roadway.

RaffertyLFP: Scoyne said hundreds of images were taken of crime scene - 5,000 images taken in whole investigation

Scoyne says there are several hundred photos of the scene.

The laneway leading to the rockpile where #ToriStafford was found was not paved.

RaffertyLFP: Scoyne is guiding the court through more photos of the laneway leading to the crime scene

My impression was that TLM said she walked away from the car when MR was doing the rapes and observed the silos and broken fence from that new vantage point.

If those landmarks are only visible after walking a distance away from the car.....and are not viewable from the car, the rockpile, or the route in betwen, then it strenghtens her testimony that she must have walked away from the car, and it doesn't fit with the defense theory that it was MR who walked away and came back.

If the landmarks are visible from anywhere.........there is no proof she ever walked away from the car.
