RaffertyLFP: The call was made on the evening of April 8 2009 made from Rafferty's phone. Smyth said that helped shift the search farther north

Rafferty's cell phone had a call received at a cell phone tower south of Mount Forest on April 8th. Further north than they had searched.

Before the search resumed, Smyth wanted to look for a starting point near Mount Forest. There was demand for search teams in other areas.
