3 Blood Locations in Rafferty's Car

McLean said she found blood on the (1) rear passenger side door and seat area. A small blood stain about four mm in diameter was found on the (2) door moulding.


A sample from the stain was compared to Tori Stafford's DNA profile and McLean said the chance that the sample came from anyone other than Stafford was one in 28 billion. Additional DNA was found in the sample but McLean said the amount was too small for reliable analysis.


Another smaller blood stain was found on the (3)car door frame opposite the area where the blood was found on the moulding but it was not subjected to DNA analysis.

Blood spot was also tested for sperm cells The amount of cells tested was below the routine level, so results are subject to higher scrutiny


The way I read this is that they did find spem cells, but the amount was so miniscule (in another tweet she said that they usually test for 15 points but only found 1 point) and because of this could not determine a DNA profile matching MTR.

And that is where I got confused because before anything was said about a 2nd profile, Jennifer was talking about how they run two tests on the samples, one being the sperm one. :waitasec:

I wonder if they found MTR's sperm elsewhere in the vehicle, given his supposed propensity for spanking his monkey in the car.

If MTR's sperm (or any other male for that matter) was NOT found elsewhere in the car, and only found in combination with Tori's DNA, then what are the chances that:

a) the one drop of sperm found happened to land into the same drop of DNA that belonged to an abducted, assaulted and murdered child in that car

b) any other male contributor deposited that particular sample on any date in history, and Tori's DNA just happened to land on top of it to create this unique combination of her DNA with male sperm.

ETA: Absolutely no offence to monkeys. They do not warrant spanking

So this answers the question. One of the blood stains positively had semen in it.

So we know that TLM told the truth. We know that MR's involvement was MUCH more than being afraid of a gangsta chick and helping her hide a body. He had a stake in this crime - a huge stake.
