There hasn't been court on Monday. That was established at the beginning of the trial. As for today ending early....no explanation given in the tweets.

I am assuming that it was a full bus of ladies and it would take crown:floorlaugh::twocents: a while to drop them all off at their homes

I want to know whose homes he said he knew the layouts to and if any belonged to any of these women. Who was he going to kidnap? JMO

SB, you forgot cop or bounty hunter? He said he drove someone to the police station for questioning.

For a while I was thinking that TLM wasn't the type to be instructed what to do. Her past violent history and trouble with the law lead me to believe she was defiant and independent. Now that we know MR has no problem conning multiple women (indeed it seems like it was his past time) I am convinced that TLM was instructed by MR what to do. Couple that with the fact that MR knows the Mount Forest area and not TLM, I am convinced he is the mastermind of this whole thing. I'm frustrated that the crown doesn't have more evidence for the rape charges but I'm certain that he will be locked away for a LONG time.

I don't post often as you can see, but follow along here frequently on many different cases. This one has been particularly rough, it hits close to home and the details are just horrendous. I don't want to read about Tori's demise but I feel I have to in her honour. It's nice to be able to read about the trial with people who feel the same as myself. Also, thank you for some of the humorous posts, they make it a little more bearable.

:( Me too. I'm sure these poor women will be glad when this is all over and he's off the streets forever. I can't imagine their stress.

"We're all praying for Tori?" ....to never be found????

"Bring Tori Home" ....was he asking himself???? JMO

LMAO good lord how did i miss that???? Re: Mondays LMAO Guess i was busy on Mondays???? Thanks.

I know that many people think just because they dont have DNA evidence that he will be let off and I completely 100% disagree.

He is going down.

TLM was made to be this big huge liar that shocked everyone, after all these witnesses its clear as day that he is a bigger liar then she is.

She changed her story about the actual Murder and who said to do what at home depot and I am telling you right now, something is not right.

Everything she said is filling into all the holes of her testimony. Everything!!!

She can confess to the murder all she wants but I am telling you he definitely had this all planned out.

He knew she would go along with it because of her personality and she was weak when it came to love. He planned it, he drove her to the school where he wanted her to take a girl, he drove away, went to home depot and told her what to go in for, and he knew exactly what he was going to do with Tori after he assaulted her in a place I knew from the beginning he already knew. He chose the spot, he assaulted Tori, He did not just help clean up the body, he womanized almost 20 women after he killed her and talked about her and pretended to look for her knowing all along he killed her!!!!!

I am sorry if the Jury does not see this without the DNA evidence I will be totally flabbergasted.

This guy is sick, twisted and he manipulated TLM and had the bigger part in Tori's death and for that he needs to be taken down so he doesnt hurt anyone else.

I am just so sicked by what I heard today, more then the actual TLM testimony believe it or not.

Rafferty played with her cat while she got ready to go to the stag and doe.

They discussed jobs on the car ride to the stag and doe. Told her he had a contracting business, and working at a juvenile centre.

RaffertyLFP: Rafferty picked up Reid at her apartment She said usual small talk He claimed he worked at juvenile detention centre on Oxford St

OH another job to add to the ever growing list. Wow. TLM was a wannabe gangster, but MR is going for everything. Sheesh.:floorlaugh:

So very sad all these women today. Had to be just terrifying for those who rode in that car and spent time "alone" with him. So many victims here. In many different ways.

The Crown has done an outstanding job at how they are presenting this case even though I criticize when they don't redirect but I can see now that they don't really have to. The evidence and testimony speaks for itself. The Chapters strategy is brilliant!!!

A very astute observation, about a situation that has prevailed throughout the trial. Derstine doesn't say much.......but has asked one or two questions which has negated a lot of Crown witness testimony.

The final words of the pathology and DNA experts are examples, where the jury is left with "there is no evidence that proves........" in their minds.

I am wondering why the Crown doesn't redirect.......but maybe because the defense could ask more questions and it would turn into a merry go round of questions.

Why do you think the jury was left with this thought? It sure isn't how I see it. Defense is supposed to attempt to discredit the DNA - but to my mind there is no way they discredited the fact that Tori's blood was found mixed with sperm cells.

Why do you say there is no evidence? Just interested.

I totally agree. They could have totally gotten people to give character witness to show who he really is but they chose to stay with the facts of the case and his whereabouts before and after her death. That alone as proved what a disgusting <modsnip>. :twocents:

I thought about leaving the site many times because this case was so upsetting but for some reason i think it is important to bear witness to what Tori went through and what her parents are going through and I really pray that Tori's law goes through. Some of these characters DO walk the streets again, over and over again. It has to change. There must be an option to throw away the key and be done with these criminals as their damage is so heinous to individuals and to communities.

This case is about Tori's story foremost. It is also about her family and what they went through and will continue to go through. It is a story about what LE has to go through with these people. It is about a drug epidemic. It is about a failing system for repeat offenders that fails to rehabilitate and fails to protect the public. It is also about the sinister people who walk amoung us and it reaffirms how we ended up in such a protective society with our children. It is because of people like the defendant. :moo: In communities all over this country there are sick individuals like them who are on a revolving door system. :moo:
