Just had to add to the list of "jobs" Rafferty said he had or is believed to have had
Can't wait to hear what he actually did do as a living

Every single job below is what Rafferty specifically told people

-Contractor
-Landscaper
-worked a better beef in Guelph
-Dance Instuctor
-was said to be in college working towards a Veterinary Assistant
-Caretaker (for his Mother) & TLM's Mother
-Possible drug traffic
-As MR stated in the LE interview, he also worked at Glen Abbey.
-And I believe he was a chef, trained at George Brown.
-working under the table
-Dance Instructor
-Had his own Contracting Business
-Snow Plower
-HR-hiring person for construction sites
-worked @ Juvenile Detention Centre(London on Oxford St)
-Teacher Dance Class
-Ballroom Dance Teacher
-degree in Kinesiology and Culinary Arts

So does this simply mean that LE can in fact put him in that location on April 8th? What a hunch by the cop to just run the plate for no reason.

The bad paint job probably made it stand out like a sore thumb. Too bad he didn't talk to him.

...this is my opinion from reading twitter today....there was no video of rafferty @ wrecking company when Police went to check on camras @ wreckers .....BUT from twitter he definitely was there as evidence was shown that he signed in and out and spent time at that auto wrecker ....hmmmmmmmmmm a bit puzzling????....robynhood

Actually I think the clerk said he couldn't find the tape?

Without providing details of time or the exact location of MR's car on Hwy 59, what was the point of that testimony?

ugh....so LE runs his plates for some reason....just imagine IF he was pulled over at that time!!!!!!

IIRC some people save their cellphone info to their computers. Say if MR had internet with FB, MSN on his BB, LE may have been able to retrieve the information through those sites and his account. Wonder what was found on his computer as LE seized it also. <modsnip>.

If he had desktop manager from bb (a desktop pc program that lets you back-up your data and retrieve it at a later date) they could have retrieved his data from that.

I remember the first time I did updated the operating system for my Blackberry 8330, I freaked out cuz I thought the program was wiping out everything, but it wasn't, it waas backing it up until the new OS was installed

Officer Stec is with the OPP, Oxford Detachment.
On April 8th, he responded to a mental health concern which took him to Woodstock/hiway 59.

I wonder if we will find out the time of day Rafferty's plates were run.

So no cellphone activity or data, shoes were being replaced, car was white washed and wiped down all though still evidence left, he was leaving town, talking about the case constantly to anyone who would listen, threw away the back car seat, went back to the wreck after the crime, went back to Mount Forest after the crime....IMO this is what I have processed so far, IMO he's going away for a very long time

Oh course we know where the defense will go with the visit to the wrecker. Derstine will say MR was looking for a window crank. How convenient the back passenger side one was missing. And as if that would matter right? He couldn't have carried back seat passengers as he had no seat, so why would a window crank be necessary? Not like he was meticulous about his car and it bothered him that crank was missing. Just an excuse the defense will use to show MR being at the wreckers, MOO.

If I'd had been a cop, I would have pulled him over with that crappy paint job he had and oh the tinted windwos, isn't it illegal in ontario to tint a rear window? iS IT?

No it is legal, but the degree of tinting is legislated by each Province.

I would think the officer had a reason to note the plate number, as he was already reporting to another incident.

If MR was stopped along the road, in a suspicious looking area, the officer may have wondered about drugs.

If MR was driving erratically, the officer may have wondered about that.

Just to drive along checking everybody's plate numbers, while responding to a call would not be an ordinary occurrence, I would think.

Unless........local police were already aware of that car, perhaps as part of an ongoing drug investigation.....???

I guess we won't know because I think that witness is finished.

Maybe the "helping MR flee the area charge" for TLM was a misunderstanding since it seems like he WAS trying to leave the area with someone else. JMO

That's what I'm thinking, maybe the media though he aws trying to leave with JW the day he got arrested. He did have all that money in his glove compartment.

Bumping this up as I think it may have been overlooked by many with all the tweets around it.

I bolded the part about Bell sim capable phones not being available until 2010.

So MR could not have just removed the sim card from his old BB and inserted it into his new one .... perhaps the option to have the data transferred at the store wasn`t available to him since RIM had his old phoneÉ

If RIM wiped the original phone you can be sure that it is really really really wiped!

So my question is (I have Rogers) with Bell, is there not a BB program where you can back up your data (contacts etc) onto say a laptop, and then reload it onto a new phone? Is it possible that MR did this prior to relinquishing his original phone with the intent of loading the data onto a new one? Is there a Bell BB pro in the house???

Yep Cha, I myself do that with my Blackberry 8330 since I don't have a sim in my phone either which now I find so inconvenient, but my contract ends Sept 1 this year, yay, gonna get a new shiny toy with a sim

Wowzers! I literally LMAO when I read that error. Just as I posted that, I lost internet connection, lagging, I went to change it before it went through. I didn't think it went through until I got a message from another nice sleuther advising me I may want to change that. OMG NO! I was NOT in MR's car the day of his arrest. Phew!!!

So was he with bell the whole time or with Rogers too?

I am wondering why he didnt get an upgrade on his blackberry if his first one was from 2007. Usually people obsessed with their blackberries upgrade to the newer model that is free after 3yrs. Is Bell like that? I know Rogers is.

I have a 416 number and I live in the Peel Region but my house phone would be a 905 number.

Cell phones within my area are usually 647 or 416. 905 I think is the cambridge, Waterloo, Guelph area but I could be mistaken. House lines are usually 519.

As disgusting as it is I have never cleaned my phone with Lysol and I wouldnt think he would either unless he was obsessed with germs or had something to hide.

I am obsessed less with cleaning these days I am just too burnt out to think about it LOL.

I also find it hard if I had to return a phone to Rogers that they would voluntarily take his phone back but I am thinking because it was from 2007 that maybe he was due for an upgrade and they were just going to give him a new one anyways???? No clue just not much to go on with what has been said.

Fishy however that he was going to flee with that money and to the US, Fishy that he went to get a new phone and the old one was wiped. Fishy that he was adamant about finding a certain type of shoe etc.

I dont know what happened and I really havent drawn a conclusion but to me he is going to all these lengths to hide or destroy all the evidence that leads back to him. JMHO

If he purchased the phone in 2007 he wouldn't have been eligible for an upgrade until 2010.I have a bell phone and although I don't live in Ontario I could get a Toronto cell # if I wanted. It is not like a landline.My friend travelled a lot and actually did this because that is where he actually made most of his calls so he did that so as not to incur the long distance charges. MR may have had his # changed also when he moved to Woodstock for the same reason.
