Just like the Crown says, there is not a requirement to determine who did what. If they both took Tori, took her to the field, and her life ended as a direct result, they are both guilty.

respectfully...the reason we are having this trial is because TLM, the confessed murderer of TS ...so IMO she can't be excluded just because her day as a witness is over (well maybe)..so she is still very much involved in this trial and in the minds of the jury...& judge etc....that is why she is brought forth each time in some of our posts and will continue to be even when this trial is over and done with...there will be many books written about this mark my words and there are two people (IMO) that have their notes already in order for print... JMO...that's the way it is....

Rather, Mr. Derstine is making the case that the real murderer is co-accused and former girlfriend Terri-Lynne McClintic, and that Mr. Rafferty was merely a reluctant, horrified participant in events that she engineered.

However, Ms. Haid’s testimony about having sex with Mr. Rafferty and driving around with him on April 9, 2009, one day after Tori was abducted, left the clear impression that he was not as distressed about the child’s death as Mr. Derstine suggests.

The reason we are having this trial is because Victoria's blood was found in his car and her body was found in a remote area in Mt Forest just to mention two of many reasons.

But you're right. I suppose we wouldn't be having this trial if she never confessed. Or maybe we would anyway thanks to the CASS video.

I doubt that she turned over ALL of the money to him. She would want to be sure that the government couldn't come after her for income tax - so it would be easier just to say that she turned it all over to him - now that she has to testify that she was giving him all this cash. It would be pretty hard to track since it would be all cash money. I wonder if some of it was for the sale of drugs too ?? Also, someone posted that she was on Mother's Allowance - If this is the case she wouldn't want to have bank accounts in her name that could lead to her being denied benefits - thus Bank account in his name so they could save for their future together. Yikes !! What an animal this guy is !!!

For all we know TLM and MR have a VERY dirty secret among them that neither will admit or "rat" who knows, maybe both of them would prefer to be protected in prison since they were going to go there anyway. This pimp testimony is probably making the defense shake in their shorts because if I was on this jury, the only thing crossing my mind at this time would be did he abduct her to sell her.

Not sure I think he wanted to sell her, I thought of that in the beginning that may have been the reason. But he could have wanted to exploit her himself. From what I know from watching documentaries, most pimps who pick up girls will rape them first before they put them to work. Also, he could have promised TLM a cut of the money he'd make with Tori and that's why she went along with it. Anyhow, that's just a theory on my part

Whatever the reason was, Tori is no longer alive and this snake had something to do with it. And if Derstine thinka the Jury will forget C's pimp evidence...

ps. he also could have just wanted to make movies with her, or taken pictures.

As much as people want to hate TLM because of what she has done we need to at least give her some respect for coming forward and telling the LE where the body was and the truth (once it came out) I am not making it look like she is innocent because she is not. She is off the streets hopefully for life.

Next is MTR if it wasnt for TLM he would be walking the streets looking for his next prey and since he didnt have a record more children and women could have been hurt or killed by him. I am sorry but he is not innocent at all.

The fact that he was apart of the kidnapping makes him part of the murder that took place. He was there, he didnt walk away, he is just taking the coward defence and to me that makes him more guilty because he cant even man up to what he has done, he has to drag all of these innocent people into the court room to listen to what they did to poor Tori. Sick.

He just sits there day after day staring down all the women, he lacks remorse and to me that is worse then TLM's testimony. He is a sick sick sick person.
