Kudos to her for coming forward with the information.

People were disgusted that she could imply that Tory had been assulted by someone else - perhaps JG.... what if MR did say this to Tory... what if he has assulted another kid ?? "Escort" does not imply sex, but that can be negotiated. There have been changes in the law in Canada, but I don't know if they're in effect. There is/was a law against "living off the avails", but even that may now be gone in the case of a madam because the girls need a safe place to do it.

As much as people want to hate TLM because of what she has done we need to at least give her some respect for coming forward and telling the LE where the body was and the truth (once it came out) I am not making it look like she is innocent because she is not. She is off the streets hopefully for life.

Next is MTR if it wasnt for TLM he would be walking the streets looking for his next prey and since he didnt have a record more children and women could have been hurt or killed by him. I am sorry but he is not innocent at all.

The fact that he was apart of the kidnapping makes him part of the murder that took place. He was there, he didnt walk away, he is just taking the coward defence and to me that makes him more guilty because he cant even man up to what he has done, he has to drag all of these innocent people into the court room to listen to what they did to poor Tori. Sick.

He just sits there day after day staring down all the women, he lacks remorse and to me that is worse then TLM's testimony. He is a sick sick sick person.

I don't know if respect is the right word for her but I agree with everything else you posted. I have no respect for child killers. She did the right thing but we have to remember that she may have done it for her own personal reasons and/or she realized her days were numbered. She was seen on the video. Tips were being called in. Her neighbours identified her, etc.

The accused on the other hand thinks he is so smart that he'll get away with this and chose to have Victoria's family relive this nightmare over and over. The last 26 days must have been hell for them having to sit there and listen to this testimony.

I see what your saying. Maybe we just dont really know him at all even with all of these women and their testimonies. Maybe there is more that we will never hear.

He liked his women, weak, usually single mothers because they were vulnerable, low self esteem so he could feel better about himself.

Does that mean because he was a man and a manipulator that he couldnt have been interested in children? I dont think anyone can answer that but him.

From what I have heard from TLM and her testimony a lot of what she said has been proven by evidence and the other things that she did say stuck out to me and I dont think that she made it up, such as him wanting a younger child, saying something to Tori when she said not the bum if someone had done that to her before, that he pulled down his zipper and stroked it when they were going down the laneway and when he was not wearing pants at all after the murder, I without a doubt believe that happened. JMO

Not sure I think he wanted to sell her, I thought of that in the beginning that may have been the reason. But he could have wanted to exploit her himself. From what I know from watching documentaries, most pimps who pick up girls will rape them first before they put them to work. Also, he could have promised TLM a cut of the money he'd make with Tori and that's why she went along with it. Anyhow, that's just a theory on my part

Whatever the reason was, Tori is no longer alive and this snake had something to do with it. And if Derstine thinka the Jury will forget C's pimp evidence...

That convinces me more of this theory. TLM testified that MR said "you know what I'm going to do to her now right?" which tells me that it could mean TLM did know the plan as to why they were taking Tori but didn't realize MR was going to rape her first.

I know when I wrote that I didnt want to use that word, you are right, that is not what I meant. Just meant to say if she didnt tell the LE where Tori was I think to this day she would never have been found for years or decades later and MTR would have gotten away with more because of it.

I WILL NEVER GIVE TLM AN OUNCE OF RESPECT. Anyone that has it in them to kick the crap out of a child and them smash that child in the head with a hammer to death, deserves nothing but the death sentence. IMO

Not necessarily, IMO.
If he was interested in children, his interest in mature women would be to get to their children. It seems most of these women had children. Perhaps the under age youth that would have access to a computer were simply too young. And childless themselves. Pedos that want access to very young children would find a woman who has children so he can have access to them.

Using TLM as an example. It has been reported that she was molested as a child. I have been left with the impression that this was a recurring theme in her life -- it happened with multiple men. Men her mother was dating. Men who likely chose her mother so they can have access to her child.



In my opinion, his interest in women with children does in fact convince me of what his interests were. He was interested in women with children to the point where he became involved with a woman while she was pregnant with another man's child. Not too many men would be interested in that... moo.

You mean all those POF girls that were witnesses were a waste of time? Could that be what all those legal arguments were all about and Derstine finally got his way? The jury will have a hard time forgetting all those days of testimony. Before deliberation, they'll need a spreadsheet of what they're supposed to forget and what they may remember.

So you can do whatever you do whatever you want before you commit a major crime--just make sure you cover your tracks while your doing it because that is all the jury is allowed to consider? Is this the jist of it?
