OMG i wonder who the women was and how she is coping now!!!
I'm really confused about the Crown strategy here.
Why put a witness on the stand who basically says the search revealed nothing?
The only one who gained anything from the testimony was Derstine, who disagreed with Det. Scoyne the other day about the elevation, and this witness confirmed that Derstine was correct.
Am I missing something?

I could be wrong Ardy, but I think it is to show the exhausting search while MTR was of no help whatsoever, even though the defence has admitted his knowledge of the crime and subsequent disposal of items. Not to mention that the Crown has to let the jury know that they did in fact search for evidence.
Imagine that. 13,800 people involved in the search for Victoria and one guy zipping around town in his recently converted two seater car who could have solved the whole case for them the night of the abduction. :waitasec:
MOO
We have the woman's name now in the one tweet. From here on out, please use her initials.
She would be an innocent party/victim and we don't need to have her name all over our pages.
Thanks!
