noticed in RS interview that when asked about TLM going into the school to get TS that he was hesitant as if he has now absorbed that new evidence and is believing that she knew her target......JMO

Poor Rodney. It seems almost everyone surrounding him has provided him with lies. JMO

Grrrrrrr........defense can do nothing but say "prove it". Where is his side of the story? Where is the story of what "really" happened so we can compare it to the Crowns theory? I must assume there isn't one!!!!

Rodney has always thought she was targetted.

He has always hinted that the possibility that Tori was targeted has been in the back of his mind.

I think RS has had his doubts about all of this right from the get go...(oh god that is a saying of NG and I hate to have to quote anything that comes out of her mouth)....but it fits what I want to say, so...so be it....just saying......JMO

He said that he questioned that from the beginning.

He also said that the jury is not bias, and may see things differently them him.

What a truly genuine man ... God bless him and his family.

Here are the tweets in order before and after
I think the tweet meant too heavy or too much heat would be on them to use BA's tools

Derstine says jury should scrub their minds if what McClibtic said about Home Depot.

He says the reliable evidence from the Home Depot was the withdrawal, and McClintic's purchase. She placed the items in the trunk.

Without McClintic, it becomes apparent Rafferty may not have known about the hammer, or told her to buy it.

Rafferty said, according to McClintic, it would be "too heat" to use Armstrong's tools. Had to head to Home Depot.

Assuming Rafferty did need tools, he a,ready had a knife in his car. Why would a full grown man need a hammer, he asks?

Too much heat is the term used meaning they will get caught if they use BA's tools, but I dont get what tools of her they had??? Was that mentioned before?

He is a victim, just like everyone else in this senseless, horrible mess!

I thought so too. Seems like he is all over the place.

ya just toss out any possible scenario and maybe one will appeal to whichever juror. He is not even telling us what happened via MTR, just tossing out whatever. IMO

Court on 20-minute recess. Looking unlikely that Crown will start their closing today

*sigh*

He sure isn't getting a bit of truth out of the defense.

There's always "one". This is simply the most effective way for defence to run. JMO

When something is "too heat" or "too much heat", it is something that would bring too much unwanted attention. Something obvious that would bring suspicion upon them by police.
I am in between their age group and have heard this term used many times. I don't get why, it sounds silly to me, but it is used in such a manner.

There are many various definitions of 'heat', too (such as a firearm.... "are you packing heat?" would mean "do you have a gun", but that is not how it was used in this case. 'Heat' could also refer to police. 'Too heat' or 'too much heat' would mean to bring too much attention).

Many various 'definitions' are listed on urbandictionary. I am not making this up.

because in Canada the defendant does not have to prove anything, it is the crown who has the burden of proof. I think the defence feels there is not enough evidence to prove what the crown is stating happened beyond a reasonable doubt and feel that the evidence speaks for it self IMO
