Well looks like crown won't get up today..... MOO
What does this mean? Is this supposed to BA? Was this mentioned before and I missed it?
wonder if he is trying to infer that Tori was killed elsewhere and just deposited in MF...JMO
RaffertyLFP: Destine said Tori was picked at random from all 15 schools in Woodstock Was it was coincidence that they were connected
There are 15 elementary schools in Woodstock school, and 326 students at the school. "Is that a coincidence? You decide."
Derstine says the odds of randomly finding Tori, a person McClintic had a connection too, are very slim.

Plainly he was covering something up, Derstine says. But, his credibility is not at issue.
That doesn't mean his culpable of murder, Derstine says.
RaffertyLFP: Derstine admits Rafferty tried to cover up and claimed to look for Rafferty, Suggest he may have tried to run away even if he was not guilty
RaffertyLFP: Derstine suggests McClintic's shoes were thrown away quickly because they were used to kick Tori
his credibility is not an issue????Pardon, he lied to LE, etc etc etc etc etc etc. MOO
BBM - then he should be charged with that, and with that alone i would think would hold a lengthy prison sentence. I do not think the crown has proven beyond a reasonable doubt the charges facing MR. I trust our legal systems and believe that the jury will find him accordingly. We're far from a verdict and sentencing at this point, but what if the judge instructs the jury to not find him guilty of murder, but just indignity to a dead body? There is a case before the court in Woodstock right now where a man is accused of a murder his girlfriend has already pleaded as accessory to and is now out and he's only pleading guilty of indignity, yet he allegedly did the killing.

Derstine's defence would be far more credible if he'd pleaded Rafferty for indignity to a dead body.

Quote:
He made a comment that he had tools at his house, but it would be too heat (would attract too much attention) to grab them. So he said we had to make one more stop. I asked him where.
Mr. Rafferty didnt reply, she said.

His credibility isn't an issue because he didn't testify. We know he lies. But Derstine made sure to say that because it adds impact to the fact that MR didn't lie about who actually killed TS (I personally do not believe he didn't hit Tori at least once). It's kinda of a smoke and mirror thing he's doing. JMO
