5/21/21 Update: Judge David Wolfe issued his ruling Friday afternoon in court that Daniels’ taped confession is admissible during trial, which is set to begin on June 1. Wolfe says they can still dismiss the confession at trial if the state doesn’t provide that evidence. During motions hearings last week, Daniels' attorneys argued that law enforcement acted with bias in their investigation & may have missed a lead in the case. However, Judge Wolfe disagreed.
