What attracts a pedophile is dependant on the pedophile. Some pedophiles victimize little boys and others little girls. Age range, race, eye color, hair color etc can be factors in who they choose as victims. Some get off on detroying innocense, others in their sick minds believe the cild is actually seducing them. Young girls acting in a provacative manner would arouse some pedophiles and discourage others. Their is no clear line or pattern on it.

Has anyone ever done a survey of Pedophiles and their penis sizes? I think the ones attracted to female children have tiny penises and their desire to have sex with small children is a by-product of this problem. (Is penises the plural for penis?)

I am so glad you said that! As if we haven't heard the same old tired "she wet the bed and Patsy killed her" routine over and over. I also lovehow peole go on these tirades and omit certain peices and so forth. I would love to see one of these people just once say it like this, "the autopsy leaned toward chronic abuse, but other experts and Doctors have said she wasn't."

the bottom line is they have to rant the old tired innuendo because they have no solid proof that a court of law has ever convicted or even called up an indictment on the Ramsey's with.

You can't ask questions here unless you think the Rams did it, well.....you can.....you just won't get an answer without the same 15 paragraphs telling you why the Ramseys are guilty, reguardless of the evidence.

Scott Robinson (I think that was the name I caught) from the Rocky Mountain News was on CourtTV just as I returned home today and flipped on the TV. He was very emphatic that anyone who still believes that Patsy Ramsey killed JonBenet over bedwetting is clinging to that notion based on premises which have been disproven and very emphatic that they need to check their facts.

Class-z, that is a myth. Most (definately not all) pedophiles are married and have kids of their own, or are in serious comitted adult relationships. In fact most of them use their own children!! Big busts within the last few years have shown that the pedophiles who sent photo's of themselves having sex with little kids were with their OWN children!!

Personally I think pedophiles should be shot on site. There is no "cure" nor can they ever be rehabilitated and will prey on children every chance they get.

What? She looked like a little girl in a beauty contest to me. She didn't look like she was suffering either. I've been to some beauty contests and they are really alot of fun for the kids and the parents.

Well I was in many pageants as an adult and watched the kids backstage waiting for their age group to be called and it WAS NOT fun for them. They couldn't have fun with their parents telling them what to do and how to win. And they were dolled up cuter than me in my early 20s... they were maybe 5, 6, 7 and 8? One little girl was crying so hard because she was sick and her mom shook her and told her "you better go out and perform and win this thing, your daddy spent a lot of money on this outfit".
The girl proceeded to throw up and then go out and perform, and win first place in both categories she was entered in: beauty/modeling and talent.

My parents never got me involved in pageants. I did it on my own when I was old enough. And I am thankful I was not subjected to what these kids were facing. It was more about the parents than the kids. they had so much makeup on, yet it looked perfect .... perfect enough to turn a man on because they were so pretty. No wonder pedos prey on little pageant girls, they are dolled up to look older and sexy, not cute and adorable and innocent. I am not saying they are justified in their sick perversions, I am just saying that people should let their little girls be little girls and not look like women who are straight out of some girly magazine.

So I don't know what pageants you may know of or have seen, but these professional ones are all about winning and nothing else. It's sad

That's what I've found also Seeker - and I think misinformation about pedophiles is very dangerous - sorry but it's what keeps us from identifying them before they get to our children.

Tybee, some people who have post here could be confronted with an ugly reality check. For, in some posts, more than opinions are being expressed. Moreover, as has been noted in a separate thread, the Jon Benet case and this forum are operating under different standards than the rest of websleuth's forums. However, legal standards for libel remain unchanged.

People who post that one or more of the Ramseys killed or murdered JonBenet are exposed to a defamation lawsuit. Likewise, if people post that one or more of the Ramseys sexually assaulted Jon Benet prior to her death, they have that same exposure.

If people post that they "know" or otherwise state that one or more of Ramseys are responsible for Jon Benets murder, they are clearly exposed. The same holds if people post that they "know" or otherwise state that one or more of the Ramseys sexually assaulted Jon Benet.

Using the word "know" represents certitude, it does not represent opinion. Words such as feel, think and believe represent opinion. And if people say they "know" or otherwise use words that express certitude that one or more of the Ramseys committed a crime, they are exposed to a defamation suit even if they say all of their posts represent opinion.

Developing an ambiguity should not be thought of as protection from a libel lawsuit, for courts resolve ambiguities against the maker of the ambiguity.

Of all the outfits I saw her in, I didn't see any that were revealing. They didn't parade her around in a two piece binki. She looked completely covered and cute as a button. I don't think a pedophile gets excited about a child that is dressed up in cute clothing. They get excited because it's a child, period. I think the clothing she was wearing in the pageant is irrelevant. These monsters just exist out there.

Actually most pedophile's (who are attracted to little girls) DO like little girls in very feminine dresses.
One of my neighbors raped and shared his oldest daughter with other pedophiles here in San Diego. She wrote a book many years later about it. I remember her as a child.........may 8 or 9 and she would never by choice wear dresses. I guess when her daddy took her out for a ride she was told to put on her prettiest dress! Very sad huh! To this day , his wife, this little girls mother is in denial!

Oh gosh...they poof their hair up and put lipstick on them...you've never seen that???

There was a special on HBO about it once. I forgot what the name of it was, but the little girl was from Florida and they had a gay coach to teach her how to move etc.

...a pedophile neither :intruded" into the Ramsey home, nor had anything to do with the murder of their daughter. Now, by PR drawing all kinds of, frnakly, bizzarro attention to her daughter while she was alive, she did "pave the way" so to speak for nutballs like Karr to have a field day, so we have not only bad parenting, vis a vis child development, but irreponsible parenting as well...
