But let's say for a second that's rumor and not fact. We keep thinking Sarai was hit with a blunt object. But what if the object was stationary, and it was her head that was smashed into something?

Does anyone know for sure it was 5 times? I've seen stuff that has said one hit to the head and I've seen stuff that says 5. Not sure which info is accurate.

Also today's report said bruising on chin, that sounds like something that happens when you fall forward and can't catch yourself.

Any thoughts, what would make that plausible? What would make it implausible?

What if she was in someones house and she tried to leave and they were fighting, and they grabbed the side of her head and smashed it into a wall? Or a heater, or the corner of something?

In that location, is there a guardrail or fence or something that perhaps someone could have slammed her head on? I imagine that anything directly in that area has been ruled out bc there would be blood.

So it would have to be a stationary object at another location. She could have been hit w a crowbar, baseball bat, etc. It seems that her injuries were pretty severe so I think you would need a big rock to do that damage..a baseball bat, etc seems more plausible given the injuries it seems she sustained.

Could even be the corner of a desk or something..could be anything

A possible theory, SS traveled to Turkey to pick up/drop off 'something' for her brother. She figured she'll use the trip as a getaway, link up with some of her IG pals. For one reason or another the deal went sour, maybe the guy/s didn't live up to their end of the deal, maybe the plan was to rip her off from the start but ended up killing her.

Brother now feels he caused all of this but is terrified to come clean and face possible jail and family resentment.

The man accused earlier today of having sex with the New York mother who was bludgeoned to death during a solo trip to Istanbul last week has denied the claims, insisting they were just friends who met up for a cup of tea.

Sarai Sierra, 33, from Staten Island, was said to have met a man named as 'Taylan K' on Instagram a few months ago before her trip to Turkey and then met up with him several times while she was there.

Various Turkish media reports claimed they had sex in a bar restroom the night before she was murdered but that was the last time he had seen her.

If that were the case, I would think her husband would be in on it, too. Maybe that's why he didn't mind her going on the trip. I don't think, so, personally, but anything is possible.

Maybe not if reports are true that she had moved back home to her parents.

Question: Are they solely basing finding a suspect mainly of the DNA found under SS fingernails? I hope they tested it to make sure is was not her OWN DNA...Because if thats the case, it still could be one of those 22 suspects. I really wonder how they are determining the DNA.

Anyway, I googled "DNA under fingernails" and wow it seems like this is a succsessfuly significant way to cracking a case.

OK. I think it is safe to say that Sarai and TK either did or did not have sex. It has to be one or the other based on newspaper accounts and other sleuthing. At least we've narrowed it down to two possibilities.

OK. I think it is safe to say that Sarai and TK either did or did not have sex. It has to be one or the other based on newspaper accounts and other sleuthing. At least we've narrowed it down to two possibilities.

Wouldn't LE try to get proof of that? Meaning, check surveillance at the bar he claimed IF he claimed that it happened at. Talk to the people who worked at the bar if they saw SS and TK there. Im sure thats something that was done. And if so, they are holding back. I do not believe they are going to release everything to the media anyway. Like they said, they don't want to scare anyone off. They are releasing bits of pieces daily to keep the media on their toes. Im almost positive they (LE,FBI,investigators) know way more than what we are subjected to. Thats just my opinion. And I pray with everything in me, that this is solved soon, and justice is served!!!

Lavy stated something earlier in response to that article (the one saying that didn't have sex) that I tend to agree with: something is getting lost in the translation. I think they had sex.

As for her Christian upbringing/lifestyle, I searched her IG posts/comments. Can't recall it all right now, but going ga-ga over a man unzipping his pants, talking about owing someone drinks, etc. Nothing is wrong with what she said. But just want to point out that I don't think she was quite as conservative as some may think.

It is INSANE how the story keeps changing. Its mind boggling. Its frustrating. I just don't get it. Why put something in the media without it being a fact. It just throws everyone off. People don't know what or who to believe at this point.

Oh, no, it didn't come out as harsh at all. Honestly, I've lost track of who speaks English as a first language and thought maybe my sarcasm was lost in translation without tonal and visual clues.
