So how did they know how to find her there

A dead body will make itself apparent to any passerby by about a week, depending on the ambient temperature. Even if on the otherside of a wall.

However, I have to think the local denizens of the area must have known sooner there was a dead woman there and may have been passing along information.

I don't recall if LE has related EXACTLY how they were notified of a body being there. I mean, EXACTLY who told them.

The sniffer dog would be because someone might have reported the odor.

He would. Such fancy gadgets are extensively marketed. Even a homeless person would associatevalue with them .

But what do you think about my other question: "If they are so concerned with survival, why would they resort to criminal acts, knowing this could put them in the hands of LE, if he were covered in mud, could he have been trying to help her?" Thanks.

It would definitely be quite the twist if they find her iPad and most photos turn out to be of coastal artilleries positioned for the protection of the Bosporus strait.

:floorlaugh:

Or modeling shots of TaylanK.

While SS was being killed in broad daylight no one heard her screams and struggles? She had DNA under her nails so she wasn't killed instantly. "Z" is a fall guy, LE is pressured to solve this case fast and with no other options decides why not steamroll some homeless dude who would not have the finances and resources to defend himself against any crimes.

There's criminal and then there's CRIMINAL.

Everyone committs criminal acts of one sort of another to get along. It's just a matter of situational ethics. Even for the homeless.

Herat, this is a brilliant statement. Much like everyone takes calculated risks and some risk more than others, everyone at some point breaks the law, some break more serious laws than others.

This IS honor among thieves.

I feel the same. This makes absolutely zero sense at all.

According to LE (back when the body was initially discovered) they found her by watching the surveillance video. They saw her go to this area, disappear off-camera, and never come back out again. This prompted a search of the area, which is when they found the body.

It was also, however, immediately after they interviewed Taylan. Timing could be a coincidence, but some of us didn't really think so.

But why? Is the assumption she wouldn't have screamed if it wasn't a homeless guy? hmm o_O jk..

the homeless guy news hasnt even been reported in us press. last story I see is from huffington post, says her wake and funeral are tomorrow and then goes on to rehash the same recent stories of the toilet shag and her hubby's instagram posts. lame.

Could the attacker have attacked as a train began to pass? How often do trains pass by there, and would a train have been loud enough to drown out her screams? Is the roadway traffic nearby noisy? Maybe he hit her in the head with the rock after the train had passed and he feared someone might hear her?

someone not hearing screaming is a tad odd. or just noone reported it? then the lady who saw a body being dumped? how does that fit in? or im sorry, did we discover that story to be false?

Where did the woman say she saw the white car with the blanket and hand sticking out? Was it near this area? Could LE have put that story out there to try to explain how they found her body? Could one of the killer's associates/witnesses have told LE what happened and they didn't want the killer to know they were on to him?

I just hope there actually IS DNA under the fingernails and not just semen on the body.

If PPZ's DNA does not match, it's all gonna be a big 5-ring circus all over again.

Homeless people do have territories, group structure and some are more in charge than others , that is those who regularly congregate at a particular location.
That cave, even if there was no 'good samaritan' most likely was someone's 'home' and they knew when it got a dead person left in it.

So true! So why would a homeless let a body stay in their "home"...unless they were scared away? The garbage collector from a poor village, who now is being sought as a mugger and murderer? Something does not connect in all of this. And why would police release such information when just a few days ago they said that in two weeks they would know...Maybe the media just wants a reaction out of this story...

That's possible, and may explain why he hit her in the head with a rock. He may have removed some of her clothing after knocking her unconscious/killing her.

and if that story is true would he have been so resourceful as to have access to a vehicle to trsnsport it if it wasn't done in the same spot she was found?

If he did cover her mouth, he might have a bite mark on his hand.

just the thought of experiencing this type of violence is gonna give me nightmares for weeks. This poor woman.

Maybe he does have a bite on his hand. There's only one way to find out.
