In July 2014 he posted a pic of a kid who legit looks dead. No context to the pic, it’s just captioned “wtf”. I’m not going to link that one because it’s creepy, but it’s on his Instagram still. For now.

“Investigators are looking into whether a bad batch of illegal drugs laced with fentanyl might have played a role in the deadly concert surge at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival, as it's revealed that multiple unconscious concertgoers were revived with the overdose-reversing drug naloxone.

What happened this past weekend is a direct result of what happens when the pursuit of financial gain and fame take precedence over protecting the lives of the innocent,' said Almaraz Law Firm, representing the Peñas, in a statement”

Did the concert end, because it *was* the end, or was it cut short? I haven’t heard how the end of the night finished.

I can tell you from my own experience working as medical staff at large events that code words are definitely used to refer to a deceased person. It is not uncommon that a fan at a sporting event, a convention delegate, or a person attending a concert dies from natural causes or a drug overdose. For example, over 100,000 fans attend a NASCAR race and one or two fans die of cardiac arrest.

We always use a code over the radio to avoid a panic. So I totally defend using a code name. HOWEVER, using the word “Smurf” is inappropriate and insensitive. An extremely poor choice. I can’t imagine anyone selecting “smurf” as a code.

As an example of why code names are necessary: several years ago I was working at a sporting event where a celebrity was driving in pre-event festivities. He crashed and was injured. At nearly the same time an elderly person died of natural causes in the parking lot. A medic attending to the parking lot victim forgot to use the code word and said over the radio “He is deceased” at the same time a medic who was assisting the injured celebrity stated the celebrity’s name over the radio. The two conversations crossed on top of each other and it was interpreted by media members who were listening to the radio frequency as the celebrity was deceased. As you can imagine this caused an uproar.

It looked like a normal ending to me. If you go to YouTube and put FULL TRAVIS SCOTT ASTROWORLD FEST 2021 HOUSTON TEXAS
in the search bar, you can see the whole AppleMusic livestream.

Yes. He most likely had an obligation to fulfill the contract for a livestream.

You know, for money.

Also dubious about the after-party at Dave & Busters

Even the Kardashain/Jenner women knew enough to high-tail it out of there

I wonder if the party was a paid appearance.

The more we learn about this Astroworld Fest disaster, the bigger the Charlie Foxtrot it is.

Astroworld victim Bharti Shahani declared brain dead from injury: reports

I know there is a video of someone unconscious being lifted out of the people, but for unknown reasons was not properly being transported and landed on a metal grate on her head. I hope that person is okay, but also wander if it is this victim that unfortunately got separated from her cousin/sister at the event. Would not be surprised that more come. Such a sad occurance.

From the article:

But do you really want to come out and promote a clothing line on Travis Scott in the next three months? You’re going to get [destroyed]. You’re going to get the letters from the Christian right. The media’s gonna be all over you. You’re gonna need crisis management, damage control.”

I find it offensive all around that the only people who could possibly find Travis Scott repugnant at this point and know how to "write letters" are the Christian right.
