If there actually is decomposition and the parents did not report her missing until AFTER she was found, then there is only ONE possible scenario imho.
Ok , I toyed with another scenario that the parents have been out of town on a holiday of some kind and she was left with a friend/neighbor/relative and the parents only returned home last night. That's pretty far fetched but it is the ONLY way I can fit the two together . Thoughts?

Are we not posting names yet?

There is a rewind of some scanner information in the main breaking news/scanner thread. I don't think it can be brought here but worth a look.

That was my thought, too...

Unless the, purple undies... And possible length of hair were the clues that made the boy think it was a girl...

Just some thoughts...

I must have missed something, I thought she was nude.

There appears to be a discrepancy about whether she was nude or just had purple panties on. Actually the link in my post above is the only place I have seen the word nude???

I am wondering if this little girl was able to go wherever she wanted in the neighborhood, by herself, as long as she came back by a certain time? Is it possible she went to a neighbor's house to watch cartoons...and the neighbor killed her?

Why am I thinking about the names, Sommer Thompson and Jessica Ridgeway? Could this be a scenario like Sommers? And too many others to name??

Saginaw Police set up tiplines. Call 682-888-3682 or 682-888-3684 if you have information about the child's body found last night in street.

I don't know a ton about decomposition but I do know it takes more than a day or two, correct? So if there is decomp, even partial, then she did NOT die yesterday at any time, correct? Some of you know way more than me, so please educate me on this . I would think it would have to be at least a 2 /3 days or MORE timeline.

Sorry to be graphic here:

IMO if she had been deceased long enough for what most of us to consider "decomp", the boys would have mentioned a smell. Once someone dies decomp begins immediately so a news report could say "decomposing" I guess and not be technically wrong, but not describing what most of us are probably imagining.
I'm just trying to reconcile two possibilities- reporting "decomp" and the parents may not have done this..... Maybe.

ETA: also, one of the boys said he thought it was "rubber"... Perhaps rigor had not set in yet?

I think to the untrained eye, someone roughed up and possibly falling out of a moving vehicle may look decomposed.

Sorry, double post

I know. I thought I read that her hands and feet were tied together too. I'll look for that info.

Ugh, this is so horrible. Literally the worst story I've heard in a while. I really feel for the kids who found this poor girls body.
