Alanna was last seen around 2:30 PM by the family who lived between her house and Holder's house. I think after the family left, Alanna either knocked on Holder's door or he came outside and lured her. I don't think he grabbed her kicking and screaming, and I think if Holder did come outside, the abduction took place very close to his house. That probably explains why no one saw anything, because I don't think Alanna was outside very long after her friend's family left. I can honestly picture Holder watching through the window, and then coming outside as soon as their car drives away.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but sometimes when people smoke pot and don't want to stink up the room and get caught, they put a dryer sheet over a toilet paper tube and secure it with a rubber band. Then they blow their smoke through it and I guess the pot smell isn't quite as noticeable. His Facebook pictures didn't give me the impression that he was overly concerned with getting caught, but I thought I'd mention it anyways.

Jared H who killed Somer Thompson did not select her. She came into his yard to see his dog. I think she may have done it before. But I imagine he had fantasized it before. I imagine TH did as well.

Although TH had plenty of opportunity without it, the family did own at least one adorable little dog. I saw video of it being seized by animal control. I still wonder why they took the dog. TH may have lured Alanna inside to pet the dog or give it a treat without any visible abduction from outside.

Maybe they just grabbed the dog and kept it out if the way for the duration of the search? Animal control probably came to catch it. I'm sure there's no way they wanted KH back in the house.

That is still the big question -- how did Alanna's body get to that intersection if TH's car didn't take it there. Did TH hang out with anyone who owned a dark sedan? Maybe the locals know more than we know about those cars.

Three things I think are rumors: I've read every post in every thread, from the beginning of the case (although, admittedly, sometimes stuff gets snipped or deleted before I get there). I've never seen any of these things confirmed:

1. Neighborhood watch - I have NEVER seen a link to TH being involved in the neighborhood watch. If anyone has confirmation that Tyler was organizing the neighborhood watch, please link. Otherwise, I'm assuming it's not true, or at the very least is rumor. Perhaps it got brought over from social media, but I haven't seen it in the press.

2. TH & KH going on vacation - again, I've never seen this in a media link, and I built the who's who, so I read and linked up a LOT of news stories. I tried to only link to local sources, because I know stories begin to get distorted when national sources build their stories off of reading local media (for example early on CNN posted in error that alanna was in a state of decomp when she was found, simply not true, but there are plenty of posts trying to refute it: ditto for her being in the literal middle of the street. She never was, but we've gone round and round because of semantics)

3. Tyler Holder mowing lawns. Again - I've not read this in a single media link. If it's true, the neighbors didn't say it to the press. Again, I'm thinking this got brought over from social media, and is rumor.

So, if there are links, show me, otherwise, I'm going to assume it's not true.

If you can stomach it, consider googling images for a 9mm facial gunshot wound. I think Tyler may be disfigured, at best. When Damon Ing said he can't talk and they don't expect him to any time soon, I think he's right. His condition is still listed as serious. I hope he's in a great deal of pain. I hope he has full mental capacity but is basically without a face.

So maybe that is how this rumor got started? I can imagine someone saying something like, "TH spent a lot of time mowing the grass," intending it to be a tip about his drug habit but having it turn into an industrious part-time job somewhere along the line (even if the info was ultimately relayed by a verified insider or MSM).

I find that a lot more believable than that TH actually went around mowing lawns.

Nope. Only one verified insider. LDHummingbird. She never said a thing about Tyler Mowing Lawns. She doesn't live in the neighborhood, but is close to Alanna's family. I have read everything, I haven't missed anything. It's not there, but thank you for trying to help.

Thank you Mitsana, that's a plausible explanation. i just keep hearing people talk about him mowing lawns as if it were fact, but the information isnt verifiable. He may have at some point in the past, but there is no MSM link to him mowing lawns. It's a rumor, until someone can link it up and show me a quote.

Earlier I googled a name related to this case and several hits of our recent thread came up. I now see, more than ever, why it is NOT ok to use full names and why it is NOT ok to post rumor as fact. I began ticking off the list of people who could possibly run across this thread via search engine (a second suspect, the victim's family, random attorneys)...I have a new understanding and respect for moderator involvement.
