Nope. Only one verified insider. LDHummingbird. She never said a thing about Tyler Mowing Lawns. She doesn't live in the neighborhood, but is close to Alanna's family. I have read everything, I haven't missed anything. It's not there, but thank you for trying to help.

This lawn mowing is a rumor.

Yes, KW is in the video at the 2:00 minute mark, but nothing about TH. it's not there. Again, I've read everything, a link with KW starting a neighborhood watch is NOT a link about Tyler starting a neighborhood watch. I don't believe Tyler was involved in the neighborhood watch.

I heard about the Neighborhood Watch thing on the local news. One of the reporters had said TH & a friend walked the neighborhood and were trying to set up a neighborhood watch. This was like in the first week. I've never seen it in writing though in MSM.

I'm curious about something. TH "liked" the show Dexter on his FB page.
I know that show is about Dexter killing people (I've never watched it and hate the print ads I have seen).

So here's the question ... there was an unknown liquid on AG, could the character in the show have used bleach on a victim to coverup a crime??

  • #924
I don't think anyone has said this, but my husband reminded me. For it to be Capitol Murder in Texas, another crime has to have been committed along with it. In Alanna's case, there is abduction and rape.

My husband served as a jury alternate on a murder trial here in Texas. He explained that in that case the murderer also stole a Rolex watch, which is why it was classified as Capitol Murder, rather than "just" murder. He served as an alternate on the jury for the trial of Kasoul Chanthakoumanne who posed as a home buyer and lured real estate agent Sarah Walker into a vacant property, where he robbed and murdered her.

It could have been shared by someone who lives in the neighborhood but chose not to be verified and then had a post edited or deleted. It could have been something that was completely fabricated. Frankly, who really cares?

I don't watch the show, but I read the novel. Dexter is a serial killer who hunts down and kills other killers. He was adopted by a law enforcement agent who recognized his murderous tendencies when he was a young boy, and helped Dexter to channel those "desires" to do good.

He is very thorough in his clean up. He uses plastic sheeting and gloves, etc. he very thoroughly disposes of the bodies which are never found. I think he may be a detective by day, so he can get inside the cases. (May be misremembering that part) Dexter keeps a microscope slide with a drop of blood on it from every one of his victims as a trophy.

I'll see if I can find the book, and I'll check if bleach specifically is used, but I think in general, the answer to your question is yes, Dexter gets away with it by not leaving trace evidence.

Because posters are using it to build theories. People are saying, "since he mowed lawns, he had access to people's homes. Maybe that's how he got into a neighbor's backyard and climbed a fence to dump the body." Or "since he mowed lawns, maybe he had a key to the neighbor's garage."

That's why I care. Because I want all of us to be working with facts when we are trying to solve this. Thank you.

“We’re now going into the next step of finding out how he got her from point A to point B — which is where she was found,” Ing said.

That is still the big question -- how did Alanna's body get to that intersection if TH's car didn't take it there. Did TH hang out with anyone who owned a dark sedan? Maybe the locals know more than we know about those cars.
.......That is a good article from yesterday. So they are trying to figue out now how she got form point a to b...Looking for the photo someone posted that showed the EXACT house he lived in. Anyone?

If that's the case, I'm REALLY surprised that the station that covered it hasn't gone back and re-reported that story. They thrive on that kind if sensational stuff. They'd be all over that like a duck on a Junebug.

I can just see the headline. "Murder suspect started neighborhood watch program!"

I'm sorry. I need to see a link. Thank you.

I remember seeing it to and it wasn't that he started it but that he was walking up and down the street with someone discussing starting or having a nw program imo

FWIW, I also saw the neighborhood watch thing. I recall that he had told friends they should start a neighborhood watch program. But no link to it now.

greenpalm thanks for that info. I was just curious because ya know some kids mimic what they see on tv.

Was it video OF him? Or someone else talking about him? I just can't believe the media hasn't pulled that back up. They'd have a field day with that.

Trying to catch up and my mind is reeling.

I will never look at an empty tp roll the same. Or without thinking of this case.

I wish I could un-know what pervs do with said tp rolls. (I am far from naive but jeez, I never would have guessed).

Big lesson: if you do not occasionally scan your teenager's disgusting bedroom, begin doing so on a regular basis. NO parent should be that clueless.

I watch the show, it's my fave show on TV, I have the books too. (I love every show on TH's fb eeeek! Including Angry Boys (an Australian mockumentary comedy show)

Dexter is a forensic blood spatter analyst for Miami-Metro PD. He does not use bleach. He covers everything in the 'kill room' in plastic. He takes his victims by injecting them in the neck with etorphine hydrochloride to render them unconscious. He slices their cheek on their face and takes a drop of blood which he keeps on a slide in a box with ones from all his victims. His method of disposal is dismemberment, into black trash bags, and dumped in the ocean.

Dexter only kills bad guys, he puts pictures around the kill room of the bad guys victims, makes them see what they have done before he 'punishes' them.

Here's a video (not new) that contains the scene where TH is getting into his red car with a woman. This video shows the woman right around 3:00. Does anyone know if this is KH or someone else? Looks a little too young for KH I think. But then again, she had him when she was quite young.

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Of...-Near-Home-of-Alanna-Gallagher-216586041.html

The answer is yes, that is his mother.

ETA: Thanks for posting that video because all the ones I have seen never showed that part.

How can a mother have a child that is so depraved and not know it?? I'm not being snotty, I'm asking a serious question.

My son gets irritated with his dad and I because if he walks in without a smile, we're instantly asking him what's wrong. Was she blind or was he an amazing actor? I just don't see how, as a mom of a teenage son, I wouldn't have some inkling that something was waaaayyyy off.

I'm just shocked and its pretty hard to shock me anymore.

Although TH had plenty of opportunity without it, the family did own at least one adorable little dog. I saw video of it being seized by animal control. I still wonder why they took the dog. TH may have lured Alanna inside to pet the dog or give it a treat without any visible abduction from outside.

What breed of dog did TH have? Anyone know?

Age of the victim can also be an aggravating circumstance. But from what I've read on this forum his age may stop him from facing those charges.
