I think I knew that r.e. TH has not been official charged yet since they were going in to serve him and he shot the officer. I wonder what is halting that particular charge? Will there be additional charges?

Uh, wait a hot minute - WHAT?................

"Saginaw police spokesman Damon Ing said earlier reports that bond in the capital murder charge had been set at $1 million were premature, as Holder has not been formally charged with the murder at this time."

Is this news only to me? Apparently it was published yesterday but I don't recall seeing this over the last two days.

He HAS NOT been charged with her murder?

That statement is reigniting my hope he is totally :) mentally incapacitated ...like comatose.

Miami cannibal attack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
While police sources speculated that the use of a street drug like "bath salts" might have been a factor,[3] and experts have expressed doubt as to their definitiveness, toxicology reports were only able to identify marijuana, and the ultimate cause of Eugene's behavior remains unknown.[4]

A toxicology report on Wednesday failed to find "bath salts" and other major street drugs in Eugene's system.

A few ads specifically says he wants 420

Ok, I see those now. I had only seen the ones were he says he HAS it.

My overall opinion is: he was doing the online hook ups because he wanted to have sex and party, not for material gain (money/drugs). He does say in some he has weed. JMO

My guess is they want to have his attorney present, to have doctors verify he is 100% lucid, yada yada.

From same article:

"Holder was charged with attempted capital murder after the wounding of Detective Charles Lodatto."

http://www.kens5.com/news/Bond-set-...f-Arlington-officer-in-Saginaw-217797391.html

So he's only been formally charged w/ attempted capital murder against Lodatto? What was the arrest warrant for? Does one not need to be charged in order to be arrested for a crime?

In my world, there is the arraignment where the attorney automatically pleads not guilty. Then the next hearing that comes up is for the official charging. Gitana can probably explain the process.

While they are stating he isn't talking and it could take several months, he could be in a medically induced coma for swelling, etc. They can't formally charge him if he's not lucid.

I would imagine, kidnapping, hindering an investigation, there will be several others.

How can that attorney willingly defend him? How do you live with yourself? What possible defense can she have for him? We better not get all Florida with his trial. :|

But then how could they formally charge him w/ attempted cap murder against Lodatto?

To me, it sounds like there is a reason that weren't charging him w/ AG's murder. So, were they only serving a search warrant? I swear they were serving both search & arrest, but maybe that was another reporting error or I am remembering incorrectly?

Well, if I were her.......I guess it might be nice to have something this "high profile" on one's resume?

Great defense attorneys w/ known names can rake in some big $$$$.

That article just linked recently is very confusing, IMO. Makes no sense to me.

ETA: But yeah, how I interpret it is that he HAS been charged with shooting the officer and bond set, but has not been charged with Alanna's murder so no bond set yet, despite earlier reports of one.

But wasn't he formally charged with the attempted murder?

On another note: I guess LE has all the info they need about the cars/drivers other wise I think they would still be asking for the public's help.

I wonder if the digital billboards are still up? Anyone local know?
MOO

I honestly don't.

The closest one I was aware of was at Hwy 121 & 183 junction, and I haven't been that way in the last 2 weeks.

So, back to the charges......

If they need him "lucid" in order to formally charge him, then how can he be charged w/ one and not the other? Was the warrant being served ONLY to search?

That's the only thing I can think of? Or, the arrest warrant was only for her rape (assumption based on DNA evidence)?

Apologies for quoting myself......

But I just realized my last sentence doesn't even make sense: if there was a charge for rape, wouldn't there also be a bond for that?

WTH. :banghead:

?

bbm: No, because the article says:

Holder was shot July 23 as officers served a capital murder warrant in the slaying of Alanna Gallagher
