This whole thing has me scratching my head. If the perp lives in the area you would think head north on 287 and find a place there to dispose the body would be his/her best option. 820 is a mad house right now. If the perp used 820 to get out then you would think he would be flooded with tips about a red truck with green splatter ( if this truck was involved) on 820 with all the traffic.

NOTE there is major construction on 820 right. I live smack in the middle of all of it. If we cant get to it through back roads we do not go. I do not know for a fact that Saginaw has construction going on ( hubby said he is pretty sure there is some going on) but they would still be faced with the traffic.

If the truck had gone north OR west, they would have been into MUCH less populated areas very quickly. She fell out of the truck by accident IF the red truck is even the right vehicle. I don't think there is any chance that she was left there on purpose. They were trying to get some yonder and didn't make it that far. And as gruesome as it is, we should be glad because she may have been a missing and never located if she made it out of that neighborhood :(

This whole thing has me scratching my head.

Just north of this area is the US Bureau of Printing and Engraving. It would be full of cameras.

IMO, this crime was committed by:

a young person
first time offender
in the area
someone who had to be some place by early evening hours (didn't have time)

Here is an approximate map from her home to the location she was found. Please disregard the route. For some reason this morning I have forgotten how to do a pinpoint map. You should be able to zoom in though and view or walk the area.

https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Babbling+Brook+Drive,+Saginaw,+TX&daddr=Cindy+Lane,+Saginaw,+TX&hl=en&sll=41.082613,-85.1509&sspn=0.230836,0.488892&geocode=FcKF9QEdxAMy-ikJi1Bqe99NhjE8ezk9W4ezsQ%3BFdhV9QEdIgwy-ikRhbisiHVOhjEP5bkOYBa2Gw&oq=cindy+lane&t=h&mra=ls&z=15

I took that and added a couple things which I have running through my head.

35mr.jpg

The route you marked
A. AG home
B. Tarp/body found

1. Golf course
2. Airfield
3. Marine Creek Reservior

IDK I have a rushed scenario running through my head. It all happened in such a short space of time to me. I could be completely wrong in everything but I have a feeling it was spur of the moment, snatched, killed in the vicinity and then planned to dump body in reservoir :(

Good thinking. Major roads would have cameras. The perp likely knew that. But what about residential homes? Maybe some home owners have security cameras set up that could help LE.

I noticed that picture, too...

I cannot rule out drowning, either...

JMO

If Alanna did drown, why did the parents bound her with tape, put a plastic body over her head, and looked to be ready to dump her body outside possibly to never be found? Obviously, it was make it look like a predator killed her...But I feel like there has to be more to it than simply the parents are worried they would go to jail for a few years for neglect.

Thanks for working with that map!

Was this little angel reported Missing? I seem to miss that piece of information!

It could have been at a neighbor's pool too. Kids were swimming with just panties on. JMO

I can think of a few others to add t that list!

I'd really like to know when was the last time

1) parents saw her
2) anyone besides parents saw her

Has LE put out these questions or answered them yet?

There is a child on my street (about 3 houses away), who is now about 9...she lives at home with her grandmother and brother (different fathers). they live w/ the grandmother because the bio mom is a meth head in and out of jail. the bio mom also has about 5 kids all with different fathers.

I have lived in my house for about 5 years and this 9 year old was allowed to roam the neighborhood at age 4-5 unsupervised. I never saw the grandmother. the brother about 13-14 (whom ive mentioned here before) is the creepiest kid ive ever seen. he also has violence issues (that ive witnessed) and some psychopathic traits.

the girl and boy are both liars and manipulators and I have seen them beg some of the other parents down here for drinks or food or to use the bathroom because they just don't want to go home.

the children have a very bad homelife. I can only imagine what goes on behind closed doors for

But in this family, we just don't know what the facts are. We have a reporter that talked and quoted a neighbor and that's about it. Is the neighbor accurate? It's hard to tell right now.

All I can say is there are a lot of pics of her being happy, at home. And other neighbors speaking positively.

I can promise you, based on experience, still shots of people in photos never ever tells a complete story. Not all the neighbors spoke positively either. How many "unhappy" photos have not been posted? How many "unhappy" moments have not been captured on photo. It is just a very skewed way of judging the status of a person or family. I have first hand experience on that. What the outside world sees is not always what is going on behind closed doors. Look at all the "happy" photos of Arial Castro...and well, we know how he turned out. We also have the case of people saying "oh he was so nice, oh they were so smart, nice, etc...." Do we really truly know those around us? No. Absolutely not.

While I wont speak my full mind on this issue, since T&C prevents it, something is severely hinky about this case and im doubting it was a stranger who do this....not based on the info we know thus far.

^^Subject to change as more info comes out.

So instead of reporting a accidental drowning in front of others swimming they did this? Not impossible but boy I would rather take the consequences for the accident then the disposing of a body like that.

ITA. I'm just thinking of reasons for her in underwear only, although this screams sexual offense to me.

All LE said at the press conference is that they were still trying to determine this information.

IMO if a child is abducted by a stranger odds are its for a sexual purpose, panties or not. Especially if the child is found deceased.

I just keep thinking about Jessica Ridgeway (which happened a few miles from my home). They were VERY clear that the person was still out there and to keep an eye on your kids. I kept my kids on a very short leash and things like biking to a friends house three houses down were OVER until that monster was caught. So it's weird here they aren't telling the public to keep their kids safe. Makes me wonder if they already know who it is but just aren't acting yet.

Im in Colorado too and Colorado is really good about being honest w/ the status of the perp....if there is a perp out there and they haven't caught him...the let it be known. At least that has been my experience since I have been here.

Maybe Saginaw is different, but to me, them not making a plea to parents to be more watchful/careful and that a perp is still out there says a lot.

Plus, too many hinky things that make my gut feel something...

Not only that but take into account photo itself.....why upload it for public display, I am sure SO like looking at little girls in their panties.

This is still confusing information as well. We don't know how long the family was looking for her before they flagged down an officer and reported her missing. She was found first, before the officer was flagged down.
