No, but if you had more "formal" restraint items, why would you use red tape?

Also, the house was searched hours after Alanna was found.....the description implies the water was still hot.

And, if they were quite sure the perp was family I don't know why LE would be all over the neighborhood like this now on the day/time of the 1 week anniversary.

I may end up wrong, but until someone in that house is named by LE as POI/suspect......I feel absolutely horrible for the way they are being portrayed/perceived.

I think most of their tests came back negative for the family, dna etc. They are back to square 1 in terms of their focus. Probably were fairly confident odds were on the family and when results didnt square with that they are back canvassing

Home, location of body, where she was killed? Maybe they know? :/ OR Does anyone remember seeing 3 cars at the residence? I'm sure I only saw 2, maybe the 3rd car was elsewhere? Workplace?

Ugh IDK maybe its a typo, I'm all a flustered :scared:

Oh...maybe 3rd car at workplace/other place...

IIRC.. There were two vehicles searched at AG's home...

:waitasec:

(Not snarky voice) Please share the link that shows that LE is "all over the neighborhood like this now on the day/time of the 1 week anniversary". I haven't seen that LE was all over the neighborhood except that one was seen taking a small bag and small box from one neighbors' home several days ago.

I think she means because they have roads blocked and are talking to everyone with helicopters all over. Today there are balls out searching !

While the search warrant info is concerning, you can buy adult "restraints" in any lingerie shop, on amazon, adult toy parties, etc. I know that some of you reading this have played around with things like "fuzzy handcuffs" between consenting adults (and I don't blame you one bit for not speaking up). I think that if any of that evidence was a slam dunk, a family member would already be in jail and LE would not be searching every car on the street today.

I'm curious, though, why they apparently collected cat hair, seemingly from two different cats. I wonder if they found cat hair on her--or maybe it's just eliminate all possible hairs from the home?

Elimination i believe. If just one hair didn't match the cats they could match it with a suspect when they find it

I was wondering about the ' 3 locations'. Would the home and car in the driveway be considered same location? That address as one location and everything on it, car , home, garage, hot tub, etc?

I also think there may be some merit to carbuff's earlier point about it being the same time of day/same day of the week as her abduction probably happened. I.e. they are catching people at the same point in their routine.

Apparently Jacuzzi-type of hot tub. I thought bath or other tub in the house at first, but realized reading another site that I was wrong.

Well, to by fair the way it's worded it sounds more like a bath tub. Imo Jacuzzi type, of course the water was warm... That's a given.

Heavy sigh... Reporters! Eyeroll

I think the three locations are

1) family home
2) Walmart
3) Lowes

Derr never mind. I'm going to actually read the warrant now

Good guess as any...

I thought the three scenes were specifically stated in the article... But that I had missed it...

I thought a trip to the adult toy shop was very common. What happens between consenting adults behind closed doors does not have any comparison to someone harming a child. It takes a very special "creep" to do something like that.

I am still patiently waiting for an arrest in this case.

Impatiently here...

The cats. That must mean cat hair was found on her.

Back to arm and leg restraints.

Handcuffs are not considered leg restraints, are they?

Are they considered arm restraints?

But, if the cat hair matches or the hot tub water matches water in her lungs or whatever, then would there be this car search?

the body had to be transported in some kind of vehicle... I guess...

That reporter tweeting "arrest warrant" instead of search warrant...should be fired...or something.

Why would someone cover up a drowning to look like a murder?

LE called it a homicide.

So, it cannot be an accident, I feel.

  • #613
Was the search warrant released to the media/public? I thought a reporter had saw it lying on the seat of a car and took a picture of it through the window.

Maybe... But that still seems kind of like a big mistake... Since photographers/reporters are known to be pretty determined...KWIM? :waitasec:

My hope, when the perp gets arrested gives a full confession.

I don't know. I can't really get behind "accident gone wrong" unless it included other kids, who panicked.

IMO no way it was an accident. If Jose defends the perp, he may try some more crap like that.

Cat hair is distinguishable from human hair. I think they must have found cat hair with Alanna, possibly stuck to a piece of tape.

and... Once the reporter released the original info. Last week... Seems like the LE would have gone to the reporter(s) requesting that the information stay hushed due to interfering with the investigation... Or what ever legal term could be used...

Just some thoughts...

The receipt that was found sitting in the car seat by reporters was just an inventory of items removed from that particular vehicle.

I believe the official search warrant that we are reading about today was either leaked or obtained through FOIA.
