Yes, good point. And I can say from personal experience that not all LE is into being helpful to people with alternative lifestyles when they have a problem that would ordinarily be considered LE's job. And my lifestyle at the time was not nearly this alternative.

How would LE know anything about lifestyle?

If they asked who else was in the house, there is no reason people cannot have others living with them.

I would not expect a call to help find a missing child to need my entire life history at that point. The kid could have fallen down and was unconscious somewhere for all the parents knew at the time.

Also, they must have exhausted the people they knew she went to because a simple phone call would provide a yes or no answer,

The knocks on the door, to me signify people they do not well enough to have their phone number. You know. At first you let your fingers to the walking. Among them, they must have had at least three cell phones, you would think

Is it weird the police cars have their emergency lights on?

That it?

They send 4 squad cars when I called about a loose mean dog that wouldn't let me leave my house.

Search warrant details items removed from home of slain Saginaw girl

http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/tarrant/Search-warrants-detail-items-removed-from-home-vehicles-of-slain-Saginaw-girls-parents-214656741.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

From that article

Saginaw Police Department spokesman Damon Ing said investigators are looking two vehicles –– one is a red truck with a green splash of paint near the rear tire well. Ing has not identified the second vehicle.

Great link! Interesting that they took water sample from hot tub. One of the last paragraphs said items were taken from three sites. Would that be Babbling Brook (the home), the cars, and Round Rock (place of discovery)?

Isn't this a fairly common (though still to be credited), one-week-after, "seeing who was out and about in the neighborhood at the approximate time of the crime" police action? The helicopters may be there to see who, upon arriving nearly home, runs when he or she sees police presence.

I am wondering, too,if there were people not available for questioning during the prior questioning session...

They might have been on vacation...

They might have been on business trips..

they might have been trying to hide?

Sorry if this has been covered already, but if you watch the video, there is a first-hand description, which says a bag was on her head and red tape was around the bag "like it was sealed" at 2:55 or so.

Also, there is video of the search warrant list that you can at least partly read. It includes 4 vacuumings and a 4-pack of Charmin ultra soft. And red tape, as has been the topic of discussion.

BBM-what exactly does this mean? Like LE did a forensic-type vacuuming of the car?

Saginaw is just N of Ft Worth. Haltom City is just E of Ft Worth, relatively close. I wonder if other PD's are offering aid to get this job done or if there are special seasoned veteran investigators at certain departments. Maybe Haltom has some officers on the Major Crimes unit. mooo

Tarrant county has a Major Crimes task force that is comprised of detectives from cities all over tarrant county. It was mentioned in MSM at some point that the task force was aiding in the investigation, so maybe that could be why they're there. Idk for certain, just a thought. :)

My computer is as dizzy as I am trying to keep up. Why would they take water from a hot tub? Did Alanna have water in her lungs? to compare?

You are absolutely right. The WFAA link that has been added just a minute ago confirms that it is part of the Major Crimes Unit assisting the Saginaw PD.

They may be used for medical reasons to stop the patient from harming himself or others or for BDSM type sex (hopefully consensual)

Interesting comment on the Saginaw Texas News FB page about the 2 vehicles people are getting asked about

We may not want to look for red vehicles.....
