My question is...did LE takes some items from the home last week and come back for more today? Meaning, did something they took last week provide cause to search again? Or was all of this taken in one event?

How would LE know anything about lifestyle?

If they asked who else was in the house, there is no reason people cannot have others living with them.

I would not expect a call to help find a missing child to need my entire life history at that point. The kid could have fallen down and was unconscious somewhere for all the parents knew at the time.

Also, they must have exhausted the people they knew she went to because a simple phone call would provide a yes or no answer,

The knocks on the door, to me signify people they do not well enough to have their phone number. You know. At first you let your fingers to the walking. Among them, they must have had at least three cell phones, you would think

I'm very friendly and speak to almost all of my neighbors all the time. That doesn't mean I have all of the phone numbers. I do have the phone numbers of my child's friends and their parents. But neighbors, only two.

No, but if you had more "formal" restraint items, why would you use red tape?

Also, the house was searched hours after Alanna was found.....the description implies the water was still hot.

And, if they were quite sure the perp was family I don't know why LE would be all over the neighborhood like this now on the day/time of the 1 week anniversary.


I may end up wrong, but until someone in that house is named by LE as POI/suspect......I feel absolutely horrible for the way they are being portrayed/perceived.

My understanding is it was all taken a week ago when they searched after she was found. Unfortunately, as you previously noted, the media reporting this on the same day they are all over the hood is going to create a different perception.......

We need to remember that this list is a week old for LE and only "news" for us, and what they found last week doesn't seem to be guiding LE's efforts today.

That is my point. They had the numbers of the people who would be considered those that Alanna would know,

They knocked on the doors of people who were not as likely to be close enough to have Alanna over.

That would be the way it was for me, I would know the number of neighbors that my child would be seeing in their homes.

I thought a trip to the adult toy shop was very common. What happens between consenting adults behind closed doors does not have any comparison to someone harming a child. It takes a very special "creep" to do something like that.

I am still patiently waiting for an arrest in this case.

From the beginning I have questioned this red truck with a green paint splotch description. We have no eyewitness of this truck dumping a tarp, yet everyone gets wrapped up in hunting down this phantom vehicle....we don't even know if it's connected!
