I like to isolate the direct quotes from LE.

“They have isolated most, if not all, vehicles entering and exiting both neighborhoods on the day of the murder,” he said. “Other investigators have then gone back to the neighborhoods to find the cars seen in the videos.

“It’s not that any one of them is a suspect, it’s simply that we are tracking each car/truck down to verify that they belong in that neighborhood.”

It's good news LE's gotten enough information to possibly be able to zero in on what vehicle may or may not have been transporting AG's body. Has it been released whether LE is still looking for the red truck or are they only interested in the 2 vans now?

Forgive me if I have missed the link as I am super behind in this case, but, has there been another search warrant issued for the home?

There was an eyewitness account of something taken away by LE, and it is not on the warrant.

I am having trouble finding the original account of what was taken.

Does anyone know?

The list is here, Wondergirl.

I really thought about doing this experiment a few days ago.
I have a huge driveway and could do it without actually being on the street.
I also having racing/auto crossing in my family. So it wouldn't be terribly weird for me to do.
My truck also is a bit faster off the line than most, so I figured it would be a good test.
I just haven't had a chance to do it when the truck was cleared out.

I was going to use a 45 pound bag of a dog food wrapped in a tarp.
I SWEAR she was 45 pounds, but now I can't find where I saw that. :waitasec:

Dog food! Good idea!

I saw her weight as well somewhere!

Oops! :blushing: I have known a couple of doctors in my life that I swore got their degrees out of a Cracker Jack's box, so you never know. Okay, I never know - do I win the Miss Gullible award for 2013?

:therethere: Confusion...

I believed her too!

and I am usually the one doing the teasing!

Karma much? :D

Thanks, ladies.

What I meant was, I am having trouble finding the social media link to the description of the item that was seen being taken by LE.

The item is definitely not on the search warrant, which makes me think there is another search warrant, as it would most certainly have not been taken without a SW.

I'm looking forward to the reports from the truck and sandbag experimenters.

Keep in mind that a sandbag may settle into the grooves in the bedliner, thus giving it more 'sticking' power.

Also, consider that, if she fell from the truck, it might not have been just acceleration, but, also centrifugal force. So, in your experiments, try accelerating while making a 90 degree turn.

Yes... And then do do-nuts on your lawn...

Your hubby will appreciate that!

:giggle:

From what I recall (will look for MSM reference later - sorry, making dinner)....belt was around trash bag she was in, not the entire tarp over her.

Sorry doesn't cut it. During a big investigation, WS members provide delivered take out so as not to disrupt the investigation.

But as a newbie, you are forgiven , but just this one time

Can you tell me what "thing" and I'll try to track it down

Seems like they're focused on the two dark colored vans, and identifying vehicles on video to determine which ones, if any, don't belong in the neighborhood. I haven't seen anything about the red truck lately.

There were additional humorous posts (which might have helped you realized it was a joke) but they were removed. I guess we got carried away... excess humor and bickering are no-no's.

FW PD spoke w/ father who said his two girls (ages 9 & 11) were, um, "invited", to approach his red truck May 31 about 10 miles from Saginaw......

Linked earlier in thread and late last nite (#3 thread). Does someone else mind linking it now? Gotta put Red to bed.....thanks!

I hope this crime scene picture shows up here. I have not posted a picture before so I do not know if I am doing this correctly.

Is the tarp located where it was originally found by the boy?
or
did he move it from the middle of the intersection?

The cone, I believe, is marking a piece of plastic that the FBI was interested in according to a tweet posted earlier today from 7/1/13.

Thoughts?

How crazy and lazy are people? If that was in the middle of the intersection, wouldn't someone stop and move it out of the way?

I would think anyone would see something like that as dangerous.

And it is not on a highway. A 20 mile an hour street. So I see it more where it is, but how would I know!!!

I just got my earlier question answered after completely reading the article bessie linked. LE is still interested/looking for the red truck.
Macon said police are still trying to locate a red pickup seen near the tarp before Alanna’s body was discovered. He said investigators cannot speculate on whether the truck was involved or had simply driven past the scene.

Maybe I'm behind on the case but that's the first time I recall reading that description of the red truck ... "seen near the tarp". I thought it had just been seen in the area.

Are you talking about the silver thingy that was too big to be a computer that was underneath a brown evidence bag? If so, that was taken from a neighbor's home, not Alanna's home.

The silver thingy that one poster thought may be metal clip board and posted a picture of one? Is that what you are referring to?
