My mind keeps going back to Amanda Berry and Gina and that guy that held the three girls captive for a decade. Gina was his daughters friend. He knew Gina. I feel like Alanna went to this persons house and it was a crime of opportunity. I feel like they will find DNA so if they look close at the neighborhood they will find the sicko. I think they should take DNA samples from the entire neighborhood.. Door to door DNA samples of every member in each house in the entire community. I just can't believe her parents are being to quite. Don't you think you would be knocking down doors for DNA samples and evidence? Collect everything before there has to be something, a hair a fiber. It's there. It has to be. Just my thoughts. :/ praying!

I can only hope my intuition hasn't failed me now. I feel they know who, have who or are watching who, but need the test back in order to get the indictment. I hope so at least.

I imagine they are devastated and trying to console Alanna's brother and sister.
That may be all they can cope with right now.

Oh, I took that as Law Enforcement knocking on doors, collecting hair samples etc...not the parents.

My husband has 4 belts, lol.....
A leather dress up belt...brown.
A leather dress up belt...black.
A casual belt for jeans and kakhis.
Lastly a old worn out belt he wears fishing, lol.

Mine does too:)

Speaking of belts- there are also these "stretch" belts for men; 2 styles below. ( if someone would like to upload the pics- I tend to blow margins)

I think the killer may have. Which points to panic. To me this crime was either an accident during abuse or an impulsive crime of opportunity in which Alanna was murdered to hide a sexual assault or as part of the overall thrill for the perp.

Ugh.

I agree with ugh. This case just makes me sick.

I've been studying the over head street maps on google. Where Allana was found is such an unorthodox place to leave someone. There are no "through" streets so to speak, they all loop around, meander.

I'm having a hard time grasping this placement...

Right now I'm looking at foreclosed homes around the areas of where she went missing and to where she was found. I have found a few, one of which is right at the end of Babbling Brook. It has been listed for at least 7 months now, sitting empty......

Another thing I found that interested me is a history rundown on the old Saginaw Airport.
It's a long read (lol) but towards the end of the article it appears that one old airplane hangar still exist's in which seems to be rented out, along with a closed shed hangar that is used occasionally for 'estate sales'.

http://www.airfields-freeman.com/TX/Airfields_TX_FtWorth_NW.htm

It is off of North Knowels Drive, across from the Willow Creek disc golf course.........

Just a thought. Sometimes vacant homes get squatters.
Now that would be a good place to view from and to hide in.

I wonder if any neighbors noticed a new family member in the hood? Or an old family member who returned recently.

I don't know who said there was little concern, but its all I've heard/ talked about. My friends and I have little kids and are terribly concerned. There are purple ribbons up everywhere and 2 candlelight vigils were held last week.

I'm in a suburb of Fort Worth and we still have very young kids out by themselves. With all the funky rain we had today the kids were outside all day in it.

I think Saginaw might be concerned but the lack of coverage is getting everyone else to forget or think the arrow is pointing in one direction. I have heard very few people talking about Alanna and have read comments under the articles, they are adding LE acting as if we have nothing to worry about and the fact that we had Alanna before a missing person report as a sign of who really did this. They need to release something...... anything even if its to say we are waiting for the results to come back but as long as her face stays in the news I would be happy.

This keeps me up at night. I think I might have to stopping reading here at ~5pm ish so I can maybe go to bed at a good time without staying up wondering and worried.

I've been reading news articles about little Alanna. It looks like there's been nothing new reported in 2 days....forgive me if I missed anything.

Initially I was looking for any little tidbit that I missed when maybe reading too fast.
I found nothing. But the one thing that grabbed my attention was this....her clothes....
HOW come LE hasn't asked people to CALL THEM IF THE FIND ANYTHING that maybe belonged to Alanna? What exactly does LE know? Imo

IMO, LE may already have her clothing and are waiting for it to be tested and/or the results.

I speculated on this pretty far upthread. The only route that seems to make sense to me is one that is threading its way down back roads from the north (Allana's neighborhood) which results in the vehicle traveling westward on Round Rock (which is the opposite direction most assume from the placement of the body).

That path ends up taking a very sharp right hand turn onto Roundrock, and I wonder if the body didn't fall out while taking a subsequent left from Roundrock onto onto Cindy. If the driver were driving a bit quickly, it seems to me that after such a sharp right, then taking a left makes it more likely that the body could have fallen out there. But if so, it seems like the boys who found the body may have moved it a little when they found it bc I would expect it would be more in the middle of the intersection.

If this was the case, I figured the perp was heading somewhere south to discard the body. Someone else posted a google map with a similar route, but instead of turning on Cindy, it continues westward towards some open green space.

There are green spaces southwest as well, and I also see a pool to the south in Ft Worth. Some have speculated that given the oddity of the hot tub water and pool chems seized that maybe Allana drowned, accidentally or intentionally by the perp. In that case maybe the perp was hoping to stage the body at the pool, but there were closer pools than the one in Ft Worth, even though it is just over the border.

Here's the map with the route I was suggesting that goes from A (Alanna's street) to B (Intersection body found, taking a left) to C the pool I am talking about.

(I haven't figured out how to embed the google map yet, but the link seems to work.)

Has this been posted? Sorry if its a repeat... incident with a red pickup truck 14 miles away. (May 31st) They have a number plate for this vehicle.
READ MORE:

Video interview with the girls and father at the link.

____
In my Saginaw ToI search, I came across very few trucks which had stuff in the back of the truck - most were empty - except for a couple - though I cant tell if this one has a tailgate or not.

The Tarrant county medical examiner still lists the COD as pending, but I'm a little surprised no reporter has provided info from the autopsy report yet. Maybe it's sealed or maybe the ME can take a while to respond.

In case someone wants to try, here's a link to the Tarrant Count ME page detailing how to request an autopsy report: http://www.tarrantcounty.com/egov/cwp/view.asp?A=706?&Q=425295

r.e. dropping off the body

IMO dropping off Alanna's body to land on the right side curb would require two people: one to drive and the other to open the passenger door (or rear door) to push her out, and then close the door before driving off. It would be possible with only one person but I can't see it happening. JMO

I posted about this on the previous threads. If the perp was alone, he would have to stop at the intersection, look around to see if anyone is about, lean over, open the passenger side door, try and get the body wrapped up out of the vehicle, shut the door again and then drive off.... all with no one seeing. It's possible, but I just can't see it, it's too risky and too cumbersome for this to have happened. A second perp would have made it much easier.

But I'm still going with my idea of Alanna's wrapped up body being strapped to the roof of a vehicle with roof restraints. One of these restraints came loose or snapped causing her body to roll off the vehicle when it went around the corner. The perp panicked and fled leaving Alanna where the teens later found her. This could be the reason LE took all types of restraints from the family home, and the perp may have felt it was less risky having the body on the roof of his vehicle due to there being less chance of traces of DNA, fibres etc being left, than if the body was inside the vehicle or in the trunk.

With no disrespect, I would wonder about the height of the fall and the damage to the body from a fall from that height - as I would assume the body would not land feet first.

The only other thing I think with the roof theory would be: a strap/bungy cord release from within the vehicle - a very sharp stop of the vehicle - the body rolls forward onto the bonnet then to the ground. The car reverses, or drives around the body.
Just some thoughts.

I agree, but LE haven't released any information on any injuries or anything like that on Alanna's body have they? Also I guess how well it was wrapped in the tarp and how thick the tarp was to have cushioned a fall to have left any visible scrapes or marks at all.

I just can't see how a single person could have intentionally left her body near the curb like it was. It just would have been too awkward and risky imo.
