'She's not on the run,' mother of missing Christoval woman says while searching for daughter

The 29-year-old Christoval mother of three was last seen by her boyfriend Feb. 26, 2020, near Kirbyville — a town roughly 130 miles northeast of Houston with a population of about 2,500. Her family reported her missing two days later and traveled to Kirbyville for the search.

The last time Anna Bruton spoke with her family was early Feb. 26, the day she went missing. "She spoke to her dad ... and he could tell she was crying," said GB, her mother, while she trekked through the wooded area Thursday, March 5, 2020.

"We received an anonymous call (March 4) that she was beat up pretty bad before she went missing," GB said. The caller reported Anna had a crescent-shaped cut under her left eye. "She didn't have that before."

The lightly colored, open front sweater was discovered by VB, Anna Bruton's father, in the wooded area she was last seen running into, according to GB.

Anna Bruton has hazel eyes, light brown hair possibly dyed red, weighs 115 lbs and is 5 feet, 5 inches tall. Other identifying marks for her include a tattoo on her left arm that says Brianna with a heart and a flower, a tattoo on her ribs and another on her left thigh.

She had medication for her PTSD, which she had not been taking regularly, her mother said. She has been known to go by Anna Low and Anna Mallory. ...

Woman missing, sheriff says most likely on purpose to avoid arson case

... Jasper County Sheriff Mitchel Newman says Bruton is the suspect in a fire late last year that destroyed a home. A news website in San Angelo says that she lived in the home with a boyfriend and their children, along with the boyfriend’s father who owned the dwelling.

Newman said he believes that she is on the run to avoid that case.

Regardless, Newman said a missing person report has been taken after Bruton was last seen in the area of Farm to Market Roads 252 and 1013 just northwest of Kirbyville. Newman said she does not have a cell phone with her.

The news website GoSanAngelo.com says that the blaze occurred shortly after midnight on December 29th, 2019, and Bruton was allegedly on LIVE video on a social networking app as she showed herself inside a bedroom of the home setting it on fire. The report cited an arrest affidavit that quoted Bruton as saying "You finally get to see the chaos you caused, I (expletive) hate you", as she set the house ablaze.

Bruton was arrested on January 6th, 2020 and charged with arson, and she is currently free from the Tom Green County Jail under a $35,000.00 bond.

That day deputies learned from a Snapchat video that Bruton allegedly burned down the trailer home while screaming "You finally get to see the chaos you caused, I F--king hate you." This video was sent to her boyfriends RB.

The report indicated that she was last seen by her boyfriend, Blankensip, on Feb. 28. Blankenship claims they were in the Kirbyville area. The JCSO told KJAS that he is not sure whether Bruton has gone missing due to the indictment or not.

Anabel Bruton was charged with assault on a public servant, a third-degree felony, resisting arrest search or transport, a class A misdemeanor, and driving while intoxicated with an open alcoholic container, a class B misdemeanor.

I wonder who paid the $35,000 to pay for her bond? If she missed a court date that bond was likely revoked and that money forfeited to the court.

This doesn't surprise me. No one does what she did and burns down the home their children live in without endangering them unless there is some very real hate, and it struck me right away that he is probably a drug addict and abuser. He and his father both have motive to kill her, and I bet it was her family that paid the bond. Two acts of revenge in one.
I hope we're wrong and she is just hiding from everyone or getting help somewhere. If she is alive her best chance is to check herself in to rehab/inpatient care ASAP.

Sheriff says body found north of Kirbyville might be missing woman

Has not been confirmed at this time.
A deputy said a body was found in a wooded area near Kirbyville and he and others believed it could be the remains of Anabel Bruton, who was reported missing in March of this year by family members.

Officers believe 30 year Bruton came to Jasper County after being charged with arson in connection with a fire that destroyed a home in Tom Green County in late December of last year.

I hope there’s an official confirmation soon (not to say what the mother shared on fb isn’t true).

I am so frustrated right now. I am trying to find a news source to help me make this claim but it’s from 2015 and MOO looks like it’s been a cover up and maybe will be with the case too. So I found what I can and if it has to be taken down I understand. I saw on the moms post first comment something interesting that I thought I’d find the articles for and share with you.

Okay so basically in 2015 Carol Lucky went missing in jasper county. In the second article you can see she too had ties to the last name Blankenship but they didn’t specify who. Her last known conversation over text was with this person and she went missing. In the first article link is talking about after she was found. There was no signs of trauma and there was no foul play suspected. Apparently she was found in the same woods as Anna was, but I am bad with locations so someone may correct me. They have a lot of similarities in circumstances of disappearing and maybe had ties to the same family, unless there are a lot of Blankenship families in that area. The police I believe I am getting from the third article I posted on Anna, which parents are saying is her but the police have put out no information on identification or anything related to Anna since early April, but anyways the third article talking about Anna I believe states that the police even after finding the body are still not suspecting foul play, but I could be misinterpreting. But when you put these two cases together I feel a suspicion MOO.
