I don't want to call Jeff Metcalf a good example of how to be graceful while suffering, even though he has been, simply due to how unfathomably unfair it is to him to have to grieve and deal with the ghouls attempting to destroy at the same time. He shouldn't have to be the bigger person right now - He should have the breathing space to break down, but he simply doesn't have it right now.

Thank you for your post, Jeff is showing a lot of grace under the circumstances.

IMO, the evolving details coming out in the media mean nothing. It seems some are looking for justification for Karmelo's action that day - he was in the tent because it was raining, he was pushed by Austin, ect.

The details of why Karmelo was in the tent, if Karmelo was pushed - none of the leadup to the murder matters. Austin was not armed with a weapon. Karmelo was not being jumped by a crowd of teens. It appears to have been a one on one, very brief confrontation between two teens with others present.

With details available now, IMO, there is no justification for the murder of Austin Metcalf. I'm not sure how his attorney will be able to spin a self-defense scenerio. But in the end, it will come down to what the jury believes.

Interesting information in this article. Mr. Anthony works as a finance manager at a car dealership, he earns "upwards of $78,000 a year". No savings, they rent a home for $3700 a month.

( how can they pay that much in rent with 3 kids at home?) That is more than half his monthly salary! Interesting to see other peoples finances. We pay less than half that for a mortgage. I thought it was less expensive to live in Texas.
