Cost of Living in Texas? Cost of Living in
Frisco, Texas?
Interesting information in this article. Mr. Anthony works as a finance manager at a car dealership, he earns "upwards of $78,000 a year". No savings, they rent a home for $3700 a month.
( how can they pay that much in rent with 3 kids at home?) That is more than half his monthly salary! Interesting to see other peoples finances. We pay less than half that for a mortgage. I thought it was less expensive to live in Texas.

@mickey2942 Thx for your post w link to story about bond hearing, in which KA's Father testified about his employment/fam income & rent.
From ^ post, thinking "Less expensive to live in Texas." Well, depends on the specific area.
DailyMail said the fam lives in a house in Richwoods, a Frisco
gated community.
"Homes for sale in Richwoods, Frisco, TX have a
median listing home price of $1,250,000..." bbm realtor.com
Some properties currently listed for sale, at ~ $1.1 mil, have, say, 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3800-4000 sq ft. interior, & sit on 1/4 acre lots (~ 8000 sq. ft lot). Not mega-mansions.
Per a general cost of living
index:
"December 2024 cost of living index in Frisco: 99.3 (
near average, U.S. average is 100)"
From city-data.com re Frisco.
Less expensive? It depends on point of reference.
imo
