Not like Boy Scouts or any Bible camp I've seen. More like survivalism mixed with training for war and reading the Bible. Scary.
Unless I'm missing something R.I.O.T Bible Camp seems a bit extreme to me.

Such a shame. I feel deeply for his family and for Mark. I know that isn't a popular opinion, but to quote his (I believe) mother, what darkness must have sucked Mark in. I hope people respect the family as their grieve (I know they won't, people are horrible but I can still hope).
He was unemployed since August. Where did he get money?
How bizarre. I wonder what he was doing there!
OK, I'm LOL'ing here at "survivalists" and "Pflugerville" in the same sentence.
Unless I'm missing something this seems a bit extreme to me.
I think I recall someone in LE saying in the media (early this morning) that he was just sitting in the parking lot. Could be he was figuring out where to make the next drop for his bombs or suspected LE were on his trail so went there to get off I35 and hide for a while. They located him through cell phone pings, then slowly, carefully put a bunch of unmarked cars and vans into the area.
Arming teens with guns, knives, discussions about chemicals, which ones are dangerous, and calling the group by the acronym RIOT? Seems a bit wacky to me.
Ok. Let's flip the script. Bunch of Muslim American kids have a religious camp where they arm them with knives and guns, discuss chemicals, read the Koran, and conduct mock battles. Would you find it odd then?
Without wanting to feed any tit-for-tat arguments, engaging people who think differently than we do may be very useful for minimizing the percentage of people who keep moving away from social integration.
After Timothy McVeigh I wondered if people had purposefully engaged him would he have continued to move away from social integration to the point where he would feel justified to destroy other human beings as he did? Since then, I have made it a point to talk with people I would not normally have spoken to.
There is no perfect world, but since the 1960s minimizing percentages of extreme behavior where wrong thinking is the root is a thing people can work toward by engagement. But, in this era it seems people no longer reach out or listen to each other in the same way.
These things are simply my perceptions reflecting the past 50 years.
People have been using religion since the Roman times to validate wiping out a demographics of people before supposedly cleansing the land.
But they all were just nut jobs hoping to get a blessing for their evil ways.
The mind wants what the mind wants.
Once again, terrorism has a pretty clear definition. What political agenda was he attempting to advance? He may very well have a motive that falls under the definition of terrorism, I just haven’t seen it yet.

I'll clarify. I find R.I.O.T Bible Camp extreme and bizarre. Unless it's just Boy Scouts-type of survivalism.
I agree with you!
Maybe police **** the bomb?

As long as you post a link with the photo... should be fine.
It's a photo that I took personally, no link. I won't post it then.
