Why does mug shot show a white towel wrapped around Amber Guyger, as if her clothing is being covered?

It's actually very common, I don't know what the hell it is though but I've seen it in multiple mugshots around DFW.

Can anyone post that link of the original video? I'm really not trying to go through all of those comments on thread 1 or 2. I've seen the video before but I'm curious was this recorded or live?

I heard there was a longer video but I have not seen it. If someone has that one, I'd like to see it too!

I hadn't listened closely to the audio before. At about :46 seconds, it sounds like a woman is saying "This is a literally a horseshoe all the way around". Could she be giving directions down the hallways?

This audio is a bit clearer.

The woman who filmed it said in her original post there was 10 minutes of film, but she only uploaded those bits (not live.)

The reason I ask is because I would love to find out the exact time she recorded that. Looks like her instagram from the original post - page has been taken down. I was praying this was live so I could look back at the time stamp. That also will be key.

Yeah, I was looking for a time stamp when I watched it, and yes, her IG appears to be gone. Very likely Botham's family lawyers have it. I hope.

eta: she also stated in her original post she wasn't interested in selling the footage, but I'm wondering if she was considering giving it away for free. I was thinking the full video may be part of that new evidence...?

eta2: she said the footage of Amber crying and pacing was around 57 seconds into the full video. Someone correct me if I remember wrong.

I am sure she gave permission for any and all to use it as she saw fit, surely I read that even though I thought she said something about the snippet being part of 7 minutes of video, not 10.

She expressed no interest in selling it which her uploading it to the public domain with no protections made that a given.

Yes, I think you're right, she said anyone could use it. But 7 minutes still is a lot more than what she published.
But no, media buys footage and pictures all the time published on any social media, so that was her choice. I've had pictures sold to local newspapers on Twitter, it's just a "remove it, here's your money."

I think she was afraid. She wanted it available. She may have liked Mr. Jean.

There is a screenshot of her original post from her now deleted IG. It does say it was part of a 10 minute video. You can still find it through a google search.

ETA: She said that the 2nd video is 7:33 into the full 10 minute video, maybe that is where you remembered 7 minutes from?

Again I ask l, were the elevators functioning that night?

Also, if they were, was the gurney not adjustable to fit into the elevator so they had to take the stairs?

I wonder that too, if this video is maybe the new evidence? Maybe the full video of her crying in the hallway proves she didn't attempt CPR? If she was on the phone with 911, and then just sat down in the hallway for 6 minutes, that could prove she lied. JMO.

That answer will probably only come from tagging some of the residents there on facebook and asking them. If I were there, I'd ask Kaylee? in a heartbeat. She was the "tour guide" for the girl that did the ~20 minute walk through showing the path of blood down the 4 flights of stairs.

You would think a building code would require an elevator able to accomodate a gurney, maybe not? That complex was built new from the ground up in 2015.

I do recall something about a 5th search warrant issued on Sept 14 specifying elevator data and documentation type items. Anyone else? I've only seen the four posted here for that day

It sounds like they were working from this article:

Zadel says residents can access the fourth floor, where Jean lived, only by elevator.

Do we know for sure that they took him by stairs and not the elevator? Sorry if I missed that!

Maybe the search warrant on the elevator was to see if Guyger took the elevator to the 4th floor.
What about the stairwells? Are there surveillance cameras in the stairwells?

Also, I found this funny/sad/confusing.

"Zadel says she saw officers running on foot toward the two-building apartment complex on the 1200 block of S. Lamar Street, but they were stymied by security locks on an exterior gates.
Zadel says. “I flagged one of them down and I was like, 'Do you guys need to get in the gate?...so they all came running and I let them in this gate right here.”
After helping police officers past the gate, Zadel says she further assisted police through subsequent resident-only gates on their way to the fourth floor."

Snipped by me for clarity. So the police couldn't get into the apartment building without a resident helping, but AG assumed that someone had broken into her place?

Well elevators are not the only way since there is a stairwell to prove that.

Yes, but I read that to mean, that residents can only access that floor by elevator. Maybe the stairwell is for emergency use only. If the elevators weren't working, I'd assume they would say something. JMO, just guessing here.
