And why don’t we have AG’s toxicology report back?
Or bothering to see who she was shooting. The evidence support her story that she shot into a dark apartment without even bothering to see if it was her apartment. Criminal negligence. Especially being a member of the PD.
The list of items found seem strange to me:
Two that really stand out are listed below.
1 black backpack with police equipment and paperwork
1 black ballistic vest with "police" markings
I doubt that most full on known drug dealers have a "ballistic vest with "police" markings" just hanging around their apartment.
Now I'm asking a sincere question here:
How many people here think that there is much of a chance that the police backpack and police vest belong to Mr Jean and if not how did it get in his apartment?

They would have to be her belongings. The list of items found seem strange to me:

I believe the vest is hers isn’t it? She had her vest in her hand from what it read. It was described as “heavy”. Anyone else read that?He had a ballistic police vest yet no other cartridges or even a gun..... ummmm... doesn't sound right. Kinda makes me wonder if that was planted and maybe the weed along with spare key... it stinks to high heavens even without comparing the narrative from the arrest warrant and the search warrant. Those two conflict greatly. Arrest warrant; door was open she shot a sillouette across the room Search Warrant: she fumbled at the door with the key and he opened the door meeting her there.... both warrants sworn
He could have all sorts of stolen goods or contraband in his apartment.
She still violated the law whe she killed him.
SHE is arrested ad accused of at least manslaughter.
He is not accused of any crimes.

Or she put them down when she couldn't get her key to work.Maybe the officer who killed him laid them down after the shooting ?
Honest question.the evidence supports amber
Search warrant: Marijuana found in Botham Jean's apartment after deadly shooting“I think it’s unfortunate that law enforcement begin to immediately criminalize the victim — in this case, someone who was clearly was the victim that has absolutely no bearing on the fact that he was shot in his home,” said Lee Merritt, attorney for Jean’s family. “I would love to see more information coming out about the warrants executed on the home of the shooter who lived just below him. I haven’t seen any of those. And particularly for it to be on this day the day that we remember and celebrate him... to see the common assassination attempt on the victim that we often see in law enforcement involved shootings.”
Attorneys not involved in the case say they believe that specific language about contraband and narcotics was included in the search warrant request because it is something that may have been in plain sight when in Jean’s apartment after he was killed by the officer.
Amazing that all this personal information about the victim is somehow being released but nothing about the killer. Why do we even
And I don't know why it's even lawful to publicize what is in his apartment.
Why would you even need to fumble with a key to unlock and door that's supposedly already open! If I walked up to my door and it was open or ajar I wouldn't be trying to put a key in it!Or she put them down when she couldn't get her key to work.
