Does DPD have a casenet type system to look up reports/cases. I've been trying and keep going in circles. The DPD case #198543-2018 would love to read the whole thing. Not the one from the Rangers with only her side.

Snippets I saw online that have the search warrant have an interesting line:
"An unknown male, inside the apartment, confronted the officer at the door." bbm
I'm assuming this was the original that talked about her fumbling at door, putting things down....before she had 3 days to think about it.
I really want to read this first acct taken by DPD.
It also mentions "a neighbor stated he heard an exchange of words, followed by 2 shots."
I've seen reports of 2 sisters accounts and AG saying 'let me in' but had not heard about anything from a 'he' neighbor.

Portion quoted is from picture with my quotes above and the case number
The Botham Jean killing: Cops obtain warrant to search victim's apartment for ... narcotics?

True. But I no longer believe she was "lost". moo

I’m right there with you. The only way I would believe her account: if it comes back she was incredibly intoxicated that night.

I don’t think it’s crazy to think he was waiting in bed, mostly unclothed and left the door ajar or propped open for a lady friend to come in and join him. He sounds like a careful, meticulous person who would opt for safety first but sex is sex and he’s a grown man. I’ve certainly had doors left unlocked for me during my dating years.
I’m embarrassed to be from Dallas. It feels so gross how LE seems to be covering for her, protecting her and diminishing his character. Why is nobody digging up dirt on her? Why haven’t ex bfs/gfs coming out with details about who she is and how she lived? I also think it’s pretty blaringly obvious her and/or her “people” have been on this thread. IMO There is no way anyone with a soul could defend her actions as some new posters have. I hope she’s reading here and understands that no amount of cronyism or corruption can save her. The public is outraged and she has shamed each and every citizen whom trusts in LE to do no harm.

That's a bizarre scenario, IMO. It's been a long time since I dated, but, yeah, no one ever left a door open. What would be the point when you're capable of answering the door on your own?

I'm going with Occam's razor here. It was a Sunday night, correct? Had to get up early for work the next morning. He was in bed asleep with his apartment door closed and locked, when the killer began banging on his door and shouting. He awakens, stumbles to the door to open it and the murderer kills him. Murderer panics and begins making up excuses for how it happened. Victim is dead, so cannot tell the true story.

Just for sake of clarity, she killed him on Thursday night. The same would apply, though. He would still be getting up to work the next day.

Thanks for that correction! Yes, the same rationale would apply. I never call anyone after 9 pm anymore because so many people I know go to bed around that time.

Not only that, but more important is that there is no way he would go to sleep and leave the door open because if he was expecting someone, they would not be able to get into his building without him letting them in. RESCUE HAD TO BE LET IN BY A TENANT. Only one going to his apartment with a door open is someone else who lives in the building.
I truly believe that Botham in no way shape or form left his door open!
My opinion only

Can someone please tell me how guyger was able to pace back and forth in the hallway right after she murdered him right before police and rescue arrived.

How in the hell did she get back in the apartment!

Not good if she propped the door open (a crime scene) and went down the hallway to call who ever she called.
Either that or she had a copy of the key if she was moonlighting as security there.

the doors close automatically

I want to see a drive and walk video to both floors and doors to see just how identical or not they really are, seems like the illuminated 1478 and red rug at the door makes her story completely unplausible

BBM for emphasis

That's an extremely relevant point. Guests would not be able to access his apartment without his permission.

Any guest of Bo's would have had to buzz his apartment, after which he would buzz them up and he would let them in. At the time around the murder, Bo had no guests in his apartment or walking towards it in the building or garage.

The excuse that he left the door "propped open" for a guest is a lie, unless LE or EMS encountered them there.

Agree with Shaun. We also need to see some security cam video of the garage and building hallways. It's a fairly new (remodeled) apartment building, so highly likely there is security video footage.

Since the search warrant says he met her at the door, contrary to the arrest warrant that says he was across the room when she shot him; his body may have propped the door open or she may have dragged him to the doorway?

He had webcams but the rangers didn't take his laptop and even let her leave with at least her phone..........

Noise complaints she made that morning against him?

Onyx Paradigm⚡⚡️ on Twitter top right pic, who is she with her arm around and what is he doing?

Look at Google Earth and peel back the timeline, you'll see the complex is very very new....ground up build 2015, not a remodel

I'm very curious about the amount of time that lapsed between parking her car and arriving at his door. Was it right away? Was it delayed...as in...there was time for her to go into her apartment, then up to his? I hope there is cameras in the parking garage.

If she parked and got out much earlier than the 911 call, there is some explaining to do.

Legal experts say Dallas could be held liable for Jean's death in a federal lawsuit if attorneys convince a court that Guyger was acting under the scope of her employment when she killed her neighbor.

Does it matter that Guyger was off duty when she killed Jean?
Not necessarily. Personal injury and labor attorneys say the main question in a case against the city would be whether Guyger was acting "under the color of state law," or, in other words, whether she was using her police authority.

So the footage from his webcam and laptop have just disappeared? Very unprofessional investigation. Very sketchy behavior on the part of LE investigators.

Agree, normally we would be seeing some video on tv of security cams, etc. showing her walking in the parking lot and hallways. There's been nothing. Also odd the Affadavit for Search Warrant didn't mention collecting security cam video of the apartment complex.

I read she had groceries so I'd like to see video from the grocery store and even traffic cams to see if she was driving noticably "tired", then why not vids from her last several hours at the police station and maybe some body cams if DPD has them?
