Here is my frustration now... I admin a missing persons page, there are 3 people missing with same circumstances from Texas. There is one who called 911 his truck was found and a couple of days ago they finally found him dead no where close to the pickup. I then see how 2 separate instances in Oklahoma girls went missing, LE immediately went public and these girls were found. No there was not an Amber Alert issued, it was because the word was immediately out there. I don't know why LL waited so long to file a report, I don't know if LE told her she had to wait. I DONT KNOW! But I do know the first 48 hours are crucial in finding someone.
I am also following a story where a mother of 4 went on a walk, she called 911 said she was in trouble and the call dropped, almost exactly what happened to Brandon. She hasn't been heard from. It's happening, I do know with things going silent and no media or even a statement from the family, people will forget and move on.
I don't think the family owes us anything, but maybe a simple reminder to those who have just started following. Maybe thank you to all who have supported us we are still actively pursing what happened to Brandon.
Just my opinion

My greatest wish for this Holiday Season would be for Brandon to come home..either way.. My fondest wish is that there was NOT a need for threads/forums like this! My fondest wish would be that everyone could come home...in any way...

This is the first time I've started reading this thread. I'm probably going to ask questions that were already covered in threads 1-2-3 and even the early parts of thread 4.

I cheated and went straight to the audio of the 911 call, and then followed that by reading a few transcriptions of what people thought Brandon said. Then I read the wife's interview.

No where did I see anyone state what I interpreted I heard Brandon say, or conclude the events I think unfolded. I'm sorry if this was already mentioned. Please provide your thoughts on my interpretation.

- Brandon ran out of gas and was pushing his truck up the road. Not knowing when his brother would come, he kept pushing the truck. Dark, no lights on truck, he witnessed another car get pulled over by a trooper car so starts to push his truck off to the side. Suddenly Brandon abandons the truck and runs into the field to get away because he witnessed the guy being hit and chased, who ran to the woods. Brandon started running too, then called 911. -

That is what I think Brandon meant by "hit someone". Brandon didn't hit someone, he saw someone get hit. By a trooper. Then chased, right there on the sides of the road. Then to the woods. It's anyones guess what Brandon heard transpire. It must have been scary and not normal cop behavior, so Brandon ran farther into the field hoping he wasnt spotted.

When his brother and another trooper showed, Brandon was probably still not trusting the situation or troopers, so called his brother to tell him he was out in the field. Brandon probably hoped the trooper would leave first, so it was safe to come to the road. But I guess it didn't work out that way.

What made Brandon continue away from the road? Maybe a wild boar chased him. Maybe the cops were hunting him. Unknown.

There is no other car mentioned anywhere near the abandoned truck. Why? Did the troopers take the guy and his car, then come after Brandon? Why did the phone stay on, but Brandon suddenly was silent? Who hung up? 911 or Brandon?

If his phone was pinged miles away, in the woods near the river, he probably ran until he got lost. Got injured along the way and was bleeding. And then no one ever came to find him. Or a hog ate his phone. How far do those hogs travel? What's their radius?

Just goes to show you how other people's opinions can influence your thinking.

I didn't hear trooper either, I just knew one was out there. I didn't know so I accepted what other people said. To me it sounded like he was saying things out of order, trying to hurry, and following is what I literally heard:

"I'm in the middle of a field. Some guys were just pushing cows over, right here going towards Abiline on both sides. My truck ran out of gas. There's one car here, and started chasing me to the woods. Please hurry. And when I got talking to them, I kind of ran into them." Then you hear other voices (more than one). "Not the first guy."

Then he goes quiet.

That's the part where I envisioned him pushing his truck up the highway in the dark, something alarmed him so he abandoned the truck and started running. Whatever he heard the people talking about scared him enough to run pretty far. Then he stayed out there for some reason, even after seeing his brother and the trooper.

We can all have theories, opinions and see another's point of view, anything is plausible at this point, including :ufo:, I don't think any of us will know the truth unless the persons who WERE THERE THAT NIGHT, come forward.

:thinking:I drove the road from San Angelo to Abilene this Christmas morning. I stopped by Brandon's cross where I think his truck ran out of gas. I said a prayer hoping Brandon comes home soon. I contemplated his situation that night while sitting there and honestly cannot comprehend where he could have gone.

My thoughts and prayers this Christmas is with Brandon's children. I pray that the new year leads to Brandon being found.

Heart wrenching. :(

Does that area have cattle running on either, or both sides of the road?

I'm sure at certain times of the year there are cattle. The land to the east is pasture with cedar trees (small evergreen trees). Not much grazing at all, fairly flat, but it would be hard to see around at night. The land to the west has a very steep incline with the same trees. If he sought shelter in the immediate vicinity by the truck, I think he would have gone through the fence and hid to the east. The only field is up the road to the north about 1/4 mile (maybe? I'm awful with distances) and it's on the west side of the road. A person could get to that field pretty quickly if he was running, but the entire highway has barbed wire on both sides of the road. There is a metal gate just up the road that he could have climbed over. There are several homes along this stretch of road and he is within walking distance easily of Bronte and a 24 hour convenience store.

I got to thinking about the "we pushed some guys over" in the 911 call. Maybe Brandon picked someone up in San Angelo who was riding with him in the truck. Maybe they were headed to Bronte to buy or sell "something" he has been known to use. (I am not blaming or accusing, but it is part of his past.) I still feel something went wrong with someone he "ran into" and he was in trouble when he called 911. I just can't figure out for the life of me why he didn't tell his brother, the brother's girlfriend or leave a voice mail for Ladessa that someone was after him. I "ran into the woods" would be close to the truck, but in a field would probably be up the road and on the west side a few 100 yards. I'm still at a loss.

Because nannymo, then it would have to be explained who he was with, why, where they were going, out of gas, with clothes that were changed in the supposed 40ish minutes he went missing in from when he left his home.

It does sound like he said "pushing cows over on both sides".

And the barbed wire would explain why he was bleeding, if it was pitch black and he started running.

And we heard other voices in the background right before he stopped talking.

Was he pushing his truck in the dark, and ran into someone becuase he couldn't see them?

And changing his clothes before he left doesn't seem odd. What seems odd is that information on phone messages aren't forthcoming.

So sad for the kids that they are still without their fathher and no answers either. I was wondering if BL & LL'S eldest daughter has ever been asked about the night her parents fought and her dad left, as well as the next days following his disappearance? I wonder what she remembers? The other two boys were too young to be able to be of any help as far as giving any info.
My thoughts & opinions only!

I would be very surprised if this were Brandon. Way too far from Bronte or even San Angelo. I looked to see who was missing from that area in the last year and no one came up that I thought might be a match. Hopefully LE will be able to identify the remains soon. Hopefully it will solve someone's long awaited answer. RIP
