Wow! I hope Adriana is found safe!!
Sadly, I feel she witnessed her dad's murder and she was taken by the perp so as not to turn him in.
That doesn't make for a happy outcome

"Adriana's mother is currently in Mexico to have surgery. She told Channel 2 that she heard the news about her daughter Sunday night, and has not heard from her husband either. She has not been told that he was found dead."

It says in the attached video that the body they found had been burned. They talk about it towards the very end around 8:50 .

Somebody was extremely pissed off. This person murders her dad with a gunshot and then burns him.

This sounds like a very personal attack, reason unknown.

I agree, sounds extremely personal ...just makes this even more alarming!

That was my first thought---I hope the reason for her surgery/hospitalization is not related.

Her FB page says she lives in Katy, TX and her hometown is listed as Tapachula, Chiapas; Mexico.

According to this link Mom spoke with them Friday and all seemed well. Her friends were coming over Saturday eve but nobody was home???? Last seen at 1 a.m.???? where were they during all that time and who saw them???? So many questions Grrrrrr I pray she is safe.

If this Family is from Mexico it makes sense to me to have surgery in Mexico if no coverage in the U.S. Cheaper.

It doesn't make a lot of sense that an unknown assailant would kill her father and then take her hostage. Why not simply put a bullet in her too in order to eliminate a witness ?? Hauling a teenaged girl around with you is a quick way to draw attention, especially if you are on the run from the law.

No, she factors into this somehow.

There's much easier ways to entice girls into prostitution than to murder their parent. There's a whole lot of runaway teenagers that will get into it simply for the money and free drugs.......no killing required.

If this wasn't a personal attack, then everything may have been torched in order to hide and cover up evidence. Her father, the truck....everything was burned in order to make it tougher for the investigators. The downside of that scenario is that you're dealing with a seasoned and educated criminal. A criminal that apparently carries around jugs of gasoline or multiple containers of lighter fluid.

Burning the truck tells me that the two of them transferred into another vehicle........... at least the shooter anyway. There's no telling where this girl may be or what was done to her.

IIRC in one of the presser updates LE said they believe Adriana had contact with someone prior to the event. This is bugging the pee waddle and doo out of me?????
