I'm ok with this. She could be in danger. She just had surgery as well, although I do not know what type. She needs to be with people who can care for and support her.

So sad. Her mother is recovering from surgery in Mexico and said that Adriana planned to have friends over Saturday. When the arrived, no one was home.

Hopefully the girls who were supposed to visit that night can shed some light on any strange happenings with the family recently that may point LE in a direction. I have to agree that LE has a lot more than they are releasing because if all they know is what we know, where would you even begin to look?

Not sure how that can be any more clear. She feels safer where she is not knowing what happened. She can go home to her empty house in fear, or stay where she is until LE tells her it is safe or they have info.
There is no daughter or husband at home so what is it you think she should do while healing from surgery?

Video at link said they moved to TX just 2 years ago from Monterrey, Mexico. Dad works as a carpenter for local businesses. They also said the FBI is likely using connections in Mexico and within the US Embassy to uncover any possible links between the father and "the bad guys" (their words).

I dunno what to think. Maybe it's just me but if my child was missing my safety would be the last thing on my mind. I would be back in the U.S. Assuming Mom is healthy enough to travel I find it strange. If there is a Mexican connection Mexico would be the last place I would want to be. Mom and her Family would be at risk. It has been reported there are ties in Houston. Why not stay there? Just pondering all angles. Most disturbing. If Cartel related why keep Adriana? It does not appear as they had money? Will Adriana appear in Mexico at some point? Was that the plan? Early morning ramblings.

Yes, it almost seems as if mother is more scared of who is in the US than Mexico.

I can see burning the truck to destroy any DNA evidence. Often, sadly we do read of the burning of a Victim in a sexual assault/murder case. Why burn the body of Dad? Was it to conceal his identity a bit longer so somebody could leave the Country?

Since they also burned the truck, it would appear that the reason was to destroy any DNA evidence.

I went back to the video at post #45. It appears that the burned truck was found near Short Lane and Enterprise Row in Conroe. Looking at it on video it appears to be an industrial/business type area. And there is a surveillance camera nearby at the FedEx building. (I seem to remember that LE was looking at a surveillance footage, but I can't find the article.) Also in the video the sheriff mentions that there is an additional vehicle or vehicles that they are looking for and maybe they will release that info within a day or two. (They saw the suspect leave the area of the burned truck in another vehicle when they reviewed the surveillance video? That would seem to indicate another party is involved.) They may be closer to catching this person or persons than I originally thought.

Cant help but note they believe Adriana "may" even of the Country. I think LE may be hot on this trail. IMO
