I've added the location to the Case Map

And here is the streetview link to where the females body and item linked to Adriana were found.

I get the impression he is youngish, but could have a knee injury< per his gait>:moo:

He could have an injury - maybe she got a kick or two in. Maybe, like ms_x_to_the_m said about him trying to keep his shoes on because he planned ahead with something to ignite the truck with, and possibly eye protection why not shoes that are too big in case of foot prints. That would have to be a very detail oriented criminal. lol My imagination running wild! MOO

WALKER COUNTY SO: ITEM FOUND AT SITE OF WEST HOUSTON BODY DISCOVERY POSSIBLY LINKED TO MISSING TEEN

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) -- The Walker County Sheriff's Office says an item found at the west Houston site where a female's body was found Wednesday could be linked to missing Katy teen Adriana Coronado.

On Wednesday, officials found the body of a female in the 11100 block of Mayfield. That female had been shot multiple times.

The Walker County Sheriff's Office says an item found with that body possibly links it to the Amber Alert case. Officials won't yet say what that item is.

This is the same recovery site mentioned in the article I posted upstream. Maybe it was her pajamas or slippers.

http://m.chron.com/houston/article/Decomposed-bady-found-n-west-Houston-6921604.php

"A woman living in the home behind which the body was found said she and her gardener discovered it because of the smell.

The woman, 60, said pajamas and slippers still clothed the body, which had been dragged into the bushes on a grassy lot where power lines run behind her house.

Upon seeing the body, she said she thought about how the deceased woman was someone's sister and someone's daughter, "that somebody threw out there like trash," she recalled Friday."

I saw one article that said it was the 11100 block of Mayfield neat Mapleton Drive. I put that on the side of the toll road. BUT I don't see any empty lots at that location.

Yeah me too and I looked there first. I went up and down, up and down and couldn't find it. Then I looked at another article "According to KTRK-TV, investigators are at the scene in the 1600 block of Wycliffe near Mayfield Road."

That's how I found it, it matches the photo in the MSM article. The pole, electricity warning sign and wooden fence is all there.

The body found on Mayfield was badly decomposed and the victim was wearing pajamas and slippers? I feel bad for the family of whoever this is, but I'm hoping it is not Adriana. If a killing occurred on Saturday or Sunday would it be that badly decomposed on Wednesday? I don't know what the weather has been like as far as temperatures. And wearing pajamas?

I'm really starting to hope this isn't her.

Yeah, when I looked at the street view in one article it matched what you had. I think the earlier article was wrong. I'm hoping they are wrong about it being Adriana, too.

In the article I linked in my previous post ^ It says the body had likely been there a day or two. Which would fit. The lady was drawn to it by the smell. What's the temp been in Houston area the past week?

I have been scrambling to catch up on this horrific event. I really hoped that Adriana had been able to run like hell away from her captor(s) and is too afraid to come out of hiding. Shameful that a child could be harmed in this. Was it to get a message to someone?
I hate to show my lack of understanding, but what is TES? I've searched here and googled it to no avail. TIA

Its been in the 80's all week so it is quite possible that it has decomposed so quickly. So sad to hear....
