Absolutely horrible. I don't even have words...

It is beyond my understanding, the evil that exists among us. How anyone/thing, could so coldly and brutally take the life of this beautiful, precious 14 year old girl in such a heinous manner....

I cannot and will not rehash those details here. My heart won't let me. Not as a mother, nor as a human being, can I even bring myself to write or snip what was done to her. ETA: I thank my fellow WSers for doing so. I just don't have the strength. It has shattered my fragile soul tonight.

To the monster(s) who did this, I say: How dare you?! There is no justification for your actions, and I guarantee you that justice will find you, not to mention Karma. The men and women of LE in Houston, and Harris County, where she was found, are top-notch professionals. I have absolute faith in their ability to build their case, along with any other agencies working alongside.

I hope you hear the sound of footsteps behind you, and live in fear until you are captured. You chose to play judge, jury and executioner to a young, innocent, teenaged girl. Your misery is just beginning. :twocents:

Our hearts were captured the moment we heard of her case. We hoped upon hope for a better, different outcome. The finality of her leaving this earth will be the driving force for the pursuit of her justice.

May the adjudication process be fair and swift. She deserves nothing less.

I wish with all my heart that your story would have ended differently.

You received your angel wings far too soon. May you Rest in Peace...

So very sad.. I live in West Houston, and I'm the Mom to a pre-teen.

Adriana was found about 5 minutes from my house.

May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort and strength.

I can't even imagine....

How I hate to read "Found Deceased" next to the thread title.
And God bless the people that have to type it here.

RIP sweet girl.

I was so hoping when I logged on tonight that I would see found safe. This sweet, innocent young lady did not deserve this. You can tell by her pictures that she was one of those very bright lights that probably never had a bad word to say. My heart aches for her, her family and her friends. Fly high Adriana.

I understand this is not new news at this point but I live in DFW and wanted to show you how the whole state is responding. Below is Dallas, Austin and Tyler fb from my news feed. The whole state was looking for this baby.

Thank you for bringing these links to the thread, SCHMAE....

•RBBM: This is the first time I've seen this. She self-identified (on SM) as Adriana Coronado. Perhaps she left off her surname as a level of safety? If/when my girls create accounts (when they're 30, #IJS), they will not use their legal names. No way.

I'll continue to use the name Adriana did on her social media, as a sign of respect for her wishes. Perhaps we will hear something later to explain this as the investigation evolves. I'm  this was her legal name (e.g. on her birth certificate) :dunno: :sigh:

Was... Just referring to her in the past tense has me crying all over again.

I'm SO hurt by this, as if she were one of my own. Her smile is just like my eldest, and it takes my breath away when I look at her photos.

The absolute epitome of innocence - brutally annihilated.

It's just. SO. WRONG!!!!

:tears:

Oh my, my best friend's last name is Cavazos and her family is originally from Monterrey. They have seen so much violence and tragedy, I hope this isn't a relative. So sad and terrible.

Adriana Coronado Cavazos was her legal name according to Spanish customs, [given name] [father's surname] [mother's surname], and as that custom doesn't exist in English the surname of the mother is usually dropped.

So, when it was initially leaked by the media, without official confirmation from LE, I thought I read she was found in Walker County. It also seemed she might have been found with those other bodies, and that perhaps TES had found her. None of these seems to be the case.

Still really wondering about these other bodies. 2? 3?

So, since she was found closer to her home, does this mean she was killed first, then her father was driven further north?

I wonder, might her mother have been murdered as well, had she not been in Mexico for surgery? If she knows anything, or the person(s) think she might know something, her safety could still be in jeopardy. Sending positive thoughts to her. No words for what she must be going through.

I believe crime scene number 1 would be their home. I 've thought from early on it is odd for dad and daughter to just be out galavanting at 1 am , especially since she had friends coming over that night. My bet is they were forced from home and forced to drive to locations 2 and 3 at gunpoint. How terrifying :(
Prayers for mom.

I do believe you are correct here, Schmae, due to the fact that Adriana was found still wearing her pajamas. Poor girl, she must have been so terrified, not only for herself, but for her daddy.

So, if this was a "beef" with her father, why did they have to take Adriana, and kill her too? Perhaps for leverage against the father ("where's the money?" for example) or for revenge which would make this deeply personal. Also, perhaps because she was a witness, and/or could ID the perps. So, does this mean she knew the perps, or just that they did not have masks on?

I wonder how much more information we will receive as the investigation continues, as far as motive, etc.

Will whoever is responsible ever be caught?

I hope now that Adriana has been found, there will be some camera somewhere near there that might have captured something.

I was reminded in one of the embedded videos upthread that the FBI was involved in the search for Adriana. This further reinforces my belief that justice will prevail! I have faith they will continue to assist as needed until the killer(s) is/are found.

A triangle. Just like Jessica. :(

ETA: I should say triangles when you look at dad and Adriana separately.

I believe she was killed first so the dad could witness it, idk it's so confusing how everything is scattered everywhere. I can't believe all this time I been glued to the news and they find her body not even 5 minutes from my house. It's so sad. I really was hoping they would find her alive. She was found in spring branch (the area where I live) R.IP Sweet angel!
