Are the lights of the dark car next to hers also on or is that a reflection of her lights?

IF that’s her in all black, it seems like she might have borrowed clothes from a male/heavier person. The silhouette doesn’t look like the pictures that were shown of her.

And what is that white thing right, at the front of her car? Could possibly be the shape/size of light colored shorts?

A. Light reflection

B. I don't know

C. White thing looks like a cross and face mask hanging from the mirror.

When my iPhone dies and I can't find it with a cursory look, I use find my iPhone on another device to see where it was when it turned off.

For whatever reason, I just don't think she was looking for her phone in the car. Whatever she was doing, the phone wasn't the goal or needed for the goal, IMO.

MOO.

I interpret this as you think there is another person involved, or what do you mean?

There are cases of people leaving their homes on foot and heading to a nature area, unfortunately. That's where my mind is going, because sometimes people purposely leave a phone behind, so they can't be tracked. And she could have left something in her car to retrieve.

I wonder if she normally takes her phone on her walks and they can find a pattern to where she goes. Though sometimes it's very difficult to find someone, even when they are pretty sure which park, etc. to search.
At the time I wrote that I believed there was background information we were missing and there was. MH issues, and a current break up.

Her mother seemed overly protective and now it makes sense.

IMO if authorities have confirmed this is her and she disappears right after this view, the “last seen wearing” needs to be updated from baby blue pajama shorts and white shoes because there is no way that matches this picture
I wonder if last seen wearing was what mom saw her wearing when they went to bed. If those items are missing from the house, then maybe she put sweatpants over the pjs and went out to the car? I feel like those pjs must be missing because if mom said she's wearing these pjs, but those pjs were on the floor or in the bathroom, it would mean she wasn't wearing them, but if they are missing, then she could have those pjs under the pants/jacket or whatever it is she has on in the photo released.

Just throwing this idea out because I have kids her age. If she smokes or vapes and mom didn't know about it, she could have been going to the car to retrieve that and do that outside on a short walk and then come back in so mom or other family didn't know she was doing that. Good kids do these things all the time so they don't disappoint us or think they will disappoint us, so they hide it. If she had been doing this many mornings, then did someone watch her and know she would be walking the block about the same time and take her then?

IMO

That FB picture looks like a man.

Almost in front of her car, on the right. +/-Next to her windshield. Not in the neighbours car.

Something I haven’t seen mentioned that seems like the Occams Razor solution to me; she’s out for a walk and it’s still mostly dark out. She could have been struck by a vehicle and the driver panicked and disposed of her body in an effort to cover it up.

Almost always a driver will either call 911 or just drive away, though. Because if they aren't going to call for help, the time it takes to stop, get out of the car, and pull someone into the car is against their panic or selfish urge to drive away. IMO.

wasn’t Mollie Tibbetts struck by a driver that dumped her in a cornfield because he was afraid to call 911 due to his immigration status? Or am I misremembering that?

My experience is that LE releases information if they think it will lead to useful tips. I don't know if LE released a capture from a Ring brand camera or just used the term "Ring" in a generic fashion. I do know that my Ring doorbell camera doesn't capture video like that seen in the Facebook image. That image looks highly manipulated. The single image available online doesn't support LE statements that confirm this is Camila searching for something in her car and does not seem to confirm this is even a young woman. It is likely that other parts of the video must show that in some way.

IMHO, if I was not informed that this person was confirmed to be her, I would assume that a man dressed in black was approaching a young woman sitting in her car.

Mollie Tibbetts was murdered by an immigrant and dumped in a cornfield, but he did not accidentally strike her with his vehicle. She was stabbed to death.

He was stalking her as she jogged.

No, not necessarily true that keys need to be in ignition for lights to go on.

In my car, if I unlock it to open door, the headlights automatically go on.
My lights turn on also, but only remain for 30 secs or 60 secs, depending on what they're set to.

Well ... I see black hoodie, black pants, black shoes ... why are we given the description light blue hoodie, light blue pajama shorts and white shoes?? Why?
And also why was the photo confirmed to be Camila when the clothing description doesn't match as to what she was wearing when last seen? Something definitely OFF.

Just shared that because that's the first I heard about suicidal ideation.
