I know leads have been followed up on. People have been questioned etc.. Even sometimes with the best probability in whom would be suspect, hands can be tied until that break, tip or location. I do have good reason to believe there are matters in this case along with the 10,000's of others out there that are not public.

I too am frustrated but there are people who are involved and working angles but time does not always move as fast as we would all like.

The day Candice disappeared she was threatened by her boyfriend's; ex-girlfriend. I am not convinced the boyfriend played an active role in being there but perhaps in collusion. Time will tell.

Wonderful news "it made my bad day" turn into the best day i have had in a long time! I have always stood firm that JT harmed Candice IMO.He already had a new relationship and baby on the way,so maybe this young woman and her baby will have a better life without him in it.I pray for comfort for her family and love ones,this has to be awesome news to mom,now lord we just wont to see Candice and baby home where they belong Resting In Paradise.

It is so sickening that "men" seem to murder pregnant women on such a regular basis...probably to avoid paying support, IMO.

"Investigators developed information that shows Thornburg had traveled to Graham on the night of the disappearance and met at her residence in Graham. Shields then left the residence with Thornburg in the early hours on December 11, 2011," said Tony Fulton, the DPS Public Information Officer.

He was arrested yesterday in Abilene and charged with her murder.

Investigators would not release any information on whether a body was found or any other information that led to the arrest.
