I really wonder why she wanted Hunter to come get her so badly.. If she wasn't drunk like pp is saying why wouldn't she ask him to meet her at home?

They had fought and she had allegedly had lost her house keys. Her original plan was to spend the night with her friend, but she changed her mind. IIRC

They had a fight it seems like. He ignored her. She tried to get his attention with asking for drugs for EA to get his attention. Seems he ignored her over and over and she was sad and wanted to go home and try to sort it out with him. I know plenty of girls like that and have probably been one in my younger days. That's my theory.

I 100% agree. She just wanted to be with him. She had a few drinks, arguing over phone calls and texts. He wasn't interested and wanted to do his thing. I bet he was getting annoyed at how needy and constant she was for his attention and that's why he stopped answering her. Maybe she was worried he was with someone else. So she wanted to go get him. Maybe she thought he was at home and not in Dallas? That's why her plans changed from staying over.

Am I right to think that EA and HF are in the same prison? Could there be something going on there and HF is frightened of repercussions if he says anything that might incriminate EA? jmo

Wouldn't that make a great TV twist, where EA turns out to be the drug kingpin. I think he's just a pervy little predator who does stuff to helpless women, but who knows.

My guess would be appeals. If he admits to the charges under oath it my ruin chances for appeals or open the door to further charges.

Nothing to be confused about. If they find her remains and his DNA is on her, he goes from a small time drug dealer to a possible murder - which, in Texas, would make him eligible for the death penalty.

So, of course, the drug dealers are going to stay quiet. Being a maytag in prison for a few years is probably more preferable to a "male model" than sitting on death row.
