Nickerson: Morris calls Nickerson that she was close to her car. 10 min after she and Arochi left apt #ArochiTrial

So, if no one seemed to have concerns about Christina walking with Enrique, why all the calls/texts back and forth while she was walking? They knew their FRIEND Enrique was walking her to her car, but they want confirmation that she made it to her car OK?

Personally, if I had no concerns over Enrique, the only thing I'd want is a call/text after she arrived home saying she was home safely, since she was driving a ways after a night of drinking.

Just an observation.

I personally think that he was worried about her bc she was drunk and sad and he seemed like he was worried about her leaving in general or driving home drunk

Nickerson says he tried to get Morris to stay at apt. When Arochi says he's leaving, she takes that opportunity to go too #arochitrial

Nickerson: Though Hunter Foster was a best friend, never heard from him in the days after Christina Morris disappeared. #arochitrial

Nickerson called #ChristinaMorris she didn't answer. She called right back, not expressing any fear while walking w/Arochi #ArochiTrial

Because they knew she was distraught and drunk and should not be going home or driving.

Just interesting. This is ea brothers eX

"Roberts said Arochi was known for keeping a blanket in his gray Camaro which detectives found Morris’s DNA in the trunk of.

She said that blanket disappeared between the time the 23-year-old went missing and a few months later when police seized the car.

“I asked him where it went and he said he didn’t know and I said do you think your brother did something to Christina and he said I’m really not sure anymore,” said Roberts.

Roberts has gone from being welcome in the Arochi’s Allen home to becoming friends with the mother of Christina Morris.

“I was kind of in shock with the insight of the family she was able to provide and the privileges of an inmate he was able to get,” said Jonnie McElroy, Christina’s mother.

Roberts said she witnessed Enrique Arochi become violent with an ex-girlfriend.

“They actually went downstairs and as they were walking he’s up throwing his girlfriend and then saying no, she threw herself,” said Roberts.

Prosecutor asks about meaning of "throwed," which came from Morris txt that night to Foster. Lofton says it means drunk. #arochitrial

Lofton skipped Henry's & went to straight to Scruffy Duffies, then got ride from Petrosky to friend's car, went home #arochitrial

BBM, I'm confused by the use of thrown in these two quotes

Do they mean the same or something different? The only meanings I know are to throw a ball or to throw up with a UK phrase for vomiting neither of which quite fet here

TIA

Before I go for a bit, I noticed during this testimony of SN that it has been clear that EA was leaving and Christina decided to leave to walk with him- so there's that. I guess he didn't jump at the chance to walk out with her....

Hello all! Trying to follow the updates in this case while I'm working. I just found out this trial had started - I am a DFW local. I occasionally have cases in Collin County, and I've tried a case before Judge Rusch as well. He's very pro-prosecution and a good judge.

I think it's likely, since other witnesses didn't know her as well, they didn't pay attention, didn't realize her level of intoxication, or they were too drunk to realize/remember. SN knew her a long time, lived with her, he would know what a drunk CM would look like. JMO.

My memory may be failing but I thought we were told in the early days that Christina isn't much of a drinker, wasn't there some mention of medication? Sorry if I'm way off base but I'd thought she was OK to drive and it hadn't seemed unusual to me that she would be planning to undertake a middle of the night drive home.

Maybe because they knew she was upset about HF, I don't see anything odd in speaking to a friend in such a situation, I though SN was actually messaging rather than talking, IIRC he said that his final message didn't indicate that it had been read
