Do we know that this Nickerson was actually the person walking with her or was he just someone she had hung out with at some point that night.

It hasn't been confirmed.

just an observation and not accusing but LE often times says someone is not a POI or Suspect to take the heat off and give them a false sense of security and then tails them to see what they do and where they go. Police 101.

Good. Morning,

We moved away from Plano last year, after living there for the past 22 years. Lots of changes in the area, but the Shops at Legacy, are upscale, and considered to be as safe as any public area could be. However, it was 0300 to 0400, and at this time of day, bad things can happen.

In my opinion, the Plano PD is top notch, and they will find the perp(s). I am a graduate of the Plano Citizens Police Academy, and feel their operation is second to none. There are not many violent crimes here, but when they do occur, there is usually a quick resolution. As with most cases, lately, much information is withheld from the public. This leads to much speculation, as we are seeing on this thread.

So glad there is another search today, and hopefully we will have some answers soon. :twocents:

and it would be helpful to know who else was at the party after the bar. maybe SN was not the only guy there. could have been that someone else left shortly before she did and waited in the garage. hopefully there is more camera footage than what has been discussed/ released in MSM.

No, we don't know that Nickerson was the person in the video walking with Christina to their vehicles. My apologies for my misleading post. Here is the quote from the article:

"Steven Nickerson was with Morris before she went missing and said she seemed a little upset that night, but he didn't know what was wrong. He said she insisted on driving back home to Fort Worth, but he never realized it would be the last time he saw her before she was reported missing.

"She was loved by everyone. She was the nicest person I've ever met, great personality," said Nickerson. "I don't see anyone that could lay a finger on her."

And this is what the same article says about the guy in the video:

"Surveillance video shows Morris walking to her car parked at the Shops at Legacy with another friend, who is not considered a suspect, about the time she disappeared around 4 a.m. Aug. 30. Days later, her car was still there with Morris nowhere to be found."

Wildebeest! So good to see you my friend! Wow! So glad to have your input! Can you believe another case without working cameras? Thanks for your upbeat message about the Plano PD! Helps me feel better!

“[Her friend] walked off one way and she walked off the other way,” said Officer David Tilley, Plano PD spokesman, of the last time Morris was seen. “He said he didn’t see anything and didn’t necessarily notice her going to go get her car. He went and got in his car and left.”

it would be helpful if Officer DT would go on to say and confirm that they have him leaving within minutes on video. But he did not. if they have it why not release it and avoid any more speculation about "her friend"?

"It was just a normal typical night," said Steven Nickerson, who was with 23-year-old Christina Morris before she went missing.

Nickerson said Morris was a little upset that night, but he didn't know what was wrong. He said she insisted on driving back home to Fort Worth, but he never realized it would be the last time he saw her before she was reported missing.

Morris’ parents say they pulled all of her recent phone records on Monday to track down any phone numbers she may have been contacting.

Police say records show Morris was sending and receiving text messages the night she disappeared.

“We’re not going to give up hope on this,” Tilley said. “We don’t have any evidence she’s anything other than alive and somewhere out there.”

Is Steve Nickerson the guy that was walking to the parking garage at the same time as CM?

Please don't think I would take offense!

Back when I was her age, if I was staying with a friend as planned, then maybe got to drinking and thinking (dangerous combination), I can't imagine what I'd do if I was unable to reach my bf. I would certainly worry about my dog and whether or not he was being taken care of. But I can't say I wouldn't want to go get him (the dog) just to make sure no other girl was able to spend time with him.

Plans change when you've been at a bar for a while.

BBM...

Good point...

SN is not necessarily the person on camera walking with her. We don't know if that's the case.

What about ppl leaving for work early in the morning g

I think it is plausible that the friend walking her to her car, got to his car first and drove up to her in parking lot, and asked her if he could take her to Ft Worth to get dog, or get breakfast or whatever. [modsnip]

"One group of volunteers located some clothes in a field, which will be tagged as potential evidence, according to David Tilley, with the Plano Police Department. The clothes, however, do not match the description of what Morris was last known to be wearing.

Plano police asked that anyone with information about Christina Morris contact them at 972-424-5678."

NBC 5's Ben Russell contributed to this report.

Oh... I had missed this...

some clothes were found by volunteers in a field... Though they did not match the description of the clothes she was wearing that night...

Interesting if they are connected to CM in some way...

I wonder if the bag she had her "overnight stuff" in has been found?

:waitasec:

(I came onto this thread late... So this may have been addressed already...
If so... I apologize...)

Well there ya have it folks. What does he know then? Highly highly suspicious.

Friends or loved ones frequently speak about a missing person in past-tense and IMO it means nothing. Happens all the time.

Does not appear to be the outfit she was last seen wearing in the video. No oversized shirt and the top has short sleeves not a tube type top.

I am simply relaying what the sister stated.
