dang.. even the cute little " couple" down the street that own the quicky gas/snack store are camera 'd OUT.. i swear they must have about 20 cameras at a little store.. even behind the register he has about 3 lcd's with a view of every angle .

once I ask why so many... he said" I have to watch everything and don't want to miss anything"

Exactly ... back at the scruggs apt? in her car? in the purse ..not likely. Especially with a camera,phone, etc

Even more than there being no evidence of an abduction, the clothing part bugs me most. We were shown a picture of Christina wearing the hat, a cream colored (looks like a knit tube top) and a black and grey skirt that looks like a chevron pattern, with the comment that it was the outfit she was wearing when she disappeared. They went on to say she had a grey oversized shirt on instead of the cardy in the picture.
In another report, it was a light peach top with a bright multicolored skirt.
Then more recently, we are told she wore shorts and a black top underneath an oversized t-shirt that fell to below her knees on her way to the parkade.
*Young women always notice what their friends are wearing. Why so many conflicting reports of her outfit?
*She seems like someone who is well put together in every pic we have of her,... I seriously doubt she would be seen anywhere, even at 4 am, strangely dressed

I have seen a number of post reference three cars in the garage that night/morning. Anyone know where this information came from? I can't find the thread or news article where the first mention of three cars came from. Thanks!

These are $$$ businesses- some are national chains, in a upper scale mall. I would hope at least one of them has a decent system

This post got me thinking...

It seems so obvious to me that security cameras would be maintained and kept in working order...

However... I know that cameras in places like casinos are very limited... And kept only for the casino's needs...

DH and I found that out many moons ago when we were taking funky pictures with friends at a casino... And the big, burly security guys entered the "picture" very rapidly and let us know, in no uncertain terms, that we were NOT allowed to take pictures inside the casino...

IMO... One reason for this is that they do not want patrons to study the workings... And thus game the system...

But... IMO... I think casinos do not want pics taken of their patrons who do not wish to make their presence known... Kwim?

I wonder if the drinking establishments have the same "needs"....

Yes... They may need the security vids for criminal activity...

But, on the other hand, they may not wish to keep the technology/footage particularly "clear" or maintained .....to protect the privacy of certain patrons....

Just some thoughts....

If LE really don't have a clue what happened to Christina and they want public assistance, they should release what they do know, such as a diagram of the garage showing the parking spots of Christina and the friend.

They should also release any video they may have of unidentified vehicles leaving the parking lot around the time in question.

Exactly. This is either utter ineptitude or they know what happened and are feigning need for the public's help.

Things that make me go "Hmmmm..."
It seems that they are saying, without saying, that their cameras ARE working... Can it be that LE is not being forthcoming so as not to spook the POI ???

I went there this weekend and after retracing her steps I have a different theory. I firmly believe that CM and her male friend did not walk from the apartment to the parking garage. IMO they received a ride from someone that dropped them off at the entrance in front of Potbelly's.

Had they walked then I believe that they would not have wound around up through the various buildings but rather they would taken a straight shot up Parkwood Blvd and then entered the garage near Dunkins. Just my opinion now having walked the area in the dark.

But I am a newbie so who knows.

I kindof take the mom saying this to mean that she is holding out hope that she is alive. Because if she were outside one would not expect that she is still alive. If "inside" then she could be alive and held against her will. I don't really get the feeling that she 'knows' anything, but but is just being hopeful and trying to stay positive.
