Yes, perhaps a techie person can answer that question about if they both had I-phones and the cloud storage chat. By what I saw of her FB she didn't seem obsessed with it. I have a friend who posts EVERYTHING she does with her husband, with her kids, how in love she is with her husband. Love her to death and so happy for her, but if you're posting everything how do you actually have time to live. I like twitter to follow updates on cases and then they do searches you can follow right along. I know we can't sleuth her friends, but how many of them were C N B's ??????

Dove season for the first. I feed them and fatten them up and the hunters who live around me reap the benefits! I have the big doves and the little Mexican doves too. And, I have about 100 hummingbirds right now that are emptying my 8 feeders every day. I had to buy 20 lbs of sugar again today. Whoever said eats like a bird hasn't seen my birds!

My guess would be text primarily especially if she was out and about. Ppl can text while hanging around a crowd or in a noisy club/bar. Not saying they didn't communicate via other means but texting is my guess.

I think we figured that with 15 calls no one answered but that may be wrong. There may have been a lot going on.
Add to that didn't her mom say she called BF just before entering that garage.

I agree, your reasoning makes perfect sense. It was the mom who said all 15 calls went unanswered and she also said that she called her BF just before entering the garage. I found that part weird too, because you would think the guy walking with her would have heard what that conversation entailed....maybe LE knows...we just don't know.

Jumping off my own post. The last 15 calls were to her boyfriend. I had assumed they were spread out over the evening precluding there were no calls to others. What if the 15 calls to HF came in the last hour or so before she went missing. She could have called someone else & planned a meeting. I can't get past the friend she was suppose to spend the night with not checking on her whereabouts unless they knew she might not return.

I can try to help. Facetime requires both phones be iPhones. It also requires wi-fi, so that's out. Plus, it just wouldn't make sense for them to communicate via Facetime in public.
There are third party apps like Kik that can be used if you have limited texts on your plan (to save money). But I would think Kik messages and the like are retrievable.
I don't know what you mean by cloud chat technology, but my best guess is that they used regular text (iMessage if he had an iPhone too), or Kik messenger (or similar). Don't know that he has a Facebook so they wouldn't be using FB messenger.

LE has decided not to share that with us.

Did mom say she called him as she was entering the garage or she spoke to him....

I kindof take the mom saying this to mean that she is holding out hope that she is alive. Because if she were outside one would not expect that she is still alive. If "inside" then she could be alive and held against her will. I don't really get the feeling that she 'knows' anything, but but is just being hopeful and trying to stay positive.

I kind of think she spoke to him because didn't her mom say she was going home to get her dog.

Why would she have to go leave in the early morning hours to drive home to get her dog?
