O/T ... Work! Why God, why?[emoji21]

Why is everyone silent?
Christina has been missing for a month. Not a year.
Why are her family/friends not shouting from rooftops?
Why is LE not begging the public for help? Why is no info released?

What are they hiding?
So frustrating.
No community outrage? PPD has effectively swept it under the carpet. Friends and family have likely been told by PPD that if they talk, it hurts the objective of solving the case and convicting the responsible party. So, everyone is quite. Meanwhile, PPD is going about their main business of generating revenue. IMO, PPD would be satisfied if no additional clues developed, media stays away, family goes home, community continues to go to 'Shops at Legacy' to shop, eat, drink. PPD can go about their business of traffic control, tickets, dui's, etc..

It's working! Come on sheep, wake up and force them to be effective!

Morning folks - can you folks who are on Twitter and have narrowed down who the friends are she went out with that night - can you go back and see if their was talk of this party/event before it happened. I personally would like to back up and see if we can piece together the events leading up to the "girls night out". We have a boss saying CM cried all day Friday due to boyfriend problems, but then he is the one she called repeatedly when she needed help. Wondering if this girls night out was because of problems with the boyfriend or if it was planned some time before. JMO and all that jazz.

Don't forget the picture that was posted sometime on the evening of 08/30 too of the boyfriend and skateboard Yooying (sp?). Looked like it was dark-evening, so did the argument ensue at that time and she decided to get in her car and go to Plano for a "girls night out?"

That's a really good point !!!
They have not told everything have they??
Let's Be Clear and To The Point!!!
A. We are not dealing with any known crime.
B. We have a 23 yr old female that is unknown where she is.

12 hours, 24 smhours - you're here for Christine :loveyou:. I searched under Vi13 in advanced search and it didn't bring up anything under that name.

When I'm on the time clock I'm supposed to be transcribing, but if there are slow times I cannot get up and roam about because if a job pops up it needs to be transcribed ASAP. Websleuths gives me a bit of something to do, if not reading a book or magazine and I can sit right at the computer. Actually 2 computers - work and home. Have to keep the work stuff separate. Sorry for the off topic.

Did it have two i's in the name? Where did all of these people who claim to know her or a friend of hers etc run off to?

Christina is a grown woman and LE has no apparent signs that a crime took place. And they cannot force people to talk to them. There is only so much LE can do, for various reasons. According to experts and families of missing relatives, it is the families who end up being responsible for doing anything they can to keep the MP's name in the media and public eye, past the initial flurry of activity. Maybe unfair, certainly not easy...but true. Marc Klaas, father of Polly and owner of Klaas Kids, has always stressed this.

Thats a good question. From the mom, she downplayed the argument, right? UGH this is frustrating.

So true! Look at what Ed Smart did - he basically went against LE to get the job done.

I have reason to suspect that location is in Fort Worth .. exactly where I am not sure.
It is an older building ... FWIW .. Fort Worth is really big on renovations and preservation of the history. If a historical building is structurally sound enough they will fight to preserve it and restore with upgrades.

I don't understand why the silence of the friends from the "girls night out/PARTY (you gotta fight for your right). There was that wonky hinky-meter overloading article from UpTownDallasGirl that leaked out. Not sure how much of it we can believe - certainly the report of a vicious attack on a young woman at same parking garage with staged picture was a hoax. I believe I'm with 99 percent of the people here at Websleuths that something happened, no one wants to say, let it go cold and it's business as usual. Reminds me of the three monkeys :Bennymonkey: See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil! Somebody needs to loosen their lips and tell the truth so Christina can be brought home. Tired of the monkey business.

I've looked and don't find a word about that evening on anyone's feed.
Two points I want to make though, I know it keeps getting referred to as a "party" but really I think it was more like "hanging out after being out at the bar." It might seem like semantics, but there's a big difference really. A party is more planned and a gathering of 4-5 ppl after a night out is less so.
Also, you say she was calling the bf repeatedly for help. I never got that impression at all. In my mind her texts would have been more like the "I know you're cheating just admit it..." Or something along those lines and if he wasn't answering (which MSM said because his phone was dead and he was snuggled in bed with sugarplums dancing in his head) then she decided she'd tell him she was coming back to the house but couldn't find her keys. I just think that if her texts were her needing his assistance LE would have some hard evidence. You know if it was like "omg! This guy I'm hanging out with is so creepy! I'm coming home" or whatever, that would give LE evidence that foul play may have been involved. JMO

Yup ... you would think they would be the one's here and in the media demanding answers

Yeah my post was unclear - I meant she was at least speaking to the boyfriend to some degree - not that she was reaching out for help. Thanks for the information on the twitter account. And now I must must must go to my paying job :)

True. She's 23-years-old and that is an adult by our standards. If she wanted to disappear for a while that is certainly her choice, although probably not in her best interest. I hate the thought of having to wait for the ID show to air in November or January of next year to renew interest in Christina's case though.

Thank you txyorkiemom! You did ID the picture as being taken in Fort Worth! Good sleuthing.

Thing is, after a month, this does not look good.
Not to be a pessimist, but, with the entire situation in consideration...it just does not look good.
Then why not come clean? Why not tell the truth, if, in fact there is something they are hiding.
If CM had an issue...substance, eating, emotional...whatever...telling the truth will not make the situation any worse. No one is searching. So, its' not like searchers will shy away. The FB group is stagnant.

And for me, personally, no demon of her's will make me "not like her" or "not want her to be found".

There has to be more to this story. And the silence...is deafening.

IF the friends know more, i.e she died that night in some way, they would be facing charges, ranging from disposing of a body, not reporting a death, to something worse. Just like the case of Lauren Spierer. But I am not convinced this is the case. I believe she was on the video and was taken into a car outside the garage. Whether she knew the person or not, who knows. Could be unrelated to the party, her friends, etc.
Also I am not surprised by people of this age group keeping their mouths shut, at least officially/publicly as it is, Imo, very much a "me first" generation in many ways. Look at Hannah Graham-she was texting her friends all night that she was lost and to come find her and they just said that it seems none of her friends responded. All jmo...

:goodpost: Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only who thought that the guy in the video sort of attached himself to Christina early on or late on depending if it was 11 p.m. or 1 a.m. in a weirdo magnet way and she couldn't shake him. So, in the evening into the morning as she was also having a spat with her boyfriend, she used that as an excuse to get away from creepy guy at 3:30 a.m. For future reference I will no longer refer to the get together as a "party" or "night out with the girls", as I too believe it was more my "BF is cheating on me and I'm gonna hang out with some friends and drink a bit and feel better" (insert a couple of lines of Linda Rondstadt blasting out Poor Poor Pitiful Me) And who should show up but the creepy guy she can't shake!

Song of the day...or, maybe, the month...

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lMNw_-yUm_0

"Some folks think I'm hidin',
It's been rumored that I died,
But I'm alive and well in Tennessee."

Yikes! Anyone check TN ?
