anyone know what prompted BB to ask Crystal if she was happy? I'm curious about the order of thoughts within that dialogue. Like what sentence or words came before 'are you happy'?

I think someone had a good theory about that in the previous thread, that he probably texted her after she updated her facebook status to say she's the happiest she's ever been in her life.

Look at the text message from Crystal at 7:27 which is the billboard picture and then go watch the interview with Paul from september 6th.

Time stamp at works shows him at the jewelry store at 7:30, he claims he got to work at 8:00.

It places Paul right where "Crystal" texted the billboard photo.

He also claims the time stamp is wrong on that video too.

It seems like the most easiest way to solve this case is to figure out who parked her car at the motel. Did the motel not have video footage of the parking lot? Is there not any way for the police to determine what time/day the car was parked there? I'm sure many staying at the motel who were in direct view of the car had to of noticed a mercedes. Would that not be out of place? BTW, it seems as if a lot of people park their car at the motel the way her car was parked. If you go to google maps you can navigate around the Motel 6's parking lot and see that many of the cars/trucks are backed in just like hers was. https://i.imgur.com/ZXY3gLj.jpg Which makes me wonder the type of guys who regularly stay at this motel and what their jobs are that they're travelling for. I just don't see the bf or the ex-husband coming up with the idea of parking her car at a Motel 6 of all places.

They have video footage of Motel 6. Sheriff said employees have given them video.

Of what we do not know

This is so disheartening, what Tim Miller stated. My hear sank at those words. I don't know what to think.
Crystal needs to be found, and the perpetrator needs to pay big time.

Please don't let this stay in limbo like this.
Her poor children.

RE: car & townhouse

HAWTHORNE: Well, luckily, the floodwaters had not overcome it. It had flooding to the point where it could not have been driven out of the parking lot. We recovered it before the floodwaters ruined anything that would have potentially been inside the car. We were able to get it out of there because later, the floodwaters did overcome the hotel and the parking lot and ruined all the cars in the parking lot.

BANFIELD: Was there anything you found inside?

HAWTHORNE: A number of things. Yes, we have a number of things that we have retained and...

BANFIELD: Anything useful?

HAWTHORNE: Well, sometimes, that`s the investigative process, as you well know. I mean, there are a number of things that I can`t really discuss with you. The direction we were taking this, that`s one of the problems, is the family got into the car before we did. So, obviously, we have other issues.

...

BANFIELD: Number one, was there any action on her credit cards or her bank accounts? Number two, did you get a chance to look through her renovated or her apartment or home in the process of renovation that may have yielded anything?

HAWTHORNE (via telephone): No activity on her financial records or credit cards. And, yes, we have been into the town home that she is having remodeled.

BANFIELD: Find anything there?

HAWTHORNE (via telephone): A number of things that we have collected. But, once again, the family had been in it multiple times without telling us, so, obviously, much of the scene is compromised. We did collect a number of things inside and feel pretty satisfied that the information that we needed in there, we got.
First time to post...I wonder why the car was backed in was there a camera in the rear so when someone exits the car their face would be hidden .I wonder the position of the seat, if was up or moved back because she is five feet tall . I also wonder whose idea it was for her to stay at the ex's house, his or hers. Why didn't stay with the uncle, maybe for kids sake.

Is it not possible that she decided to meet Jeff at his aunt's house in Dallas at the last minute? I don't think it's outside the realm of possibilities that she decided to go there and just never had the chance to tell him because something bad happened to her.

ETA: And she told BF "I might take them out, if they want to go." This could mean taking them to Dallas for all we know.

I may have missed a lot of info because I'm catching up. Are you kidding? If she went Dallas, are the kids missing too?

Your quote about "I might take them..." is about taking the kids out instead of staying in for the Hurricane. Please reread it from the ex-husbands texts.

We are given a lot of info. I personally feel that no other info is needed to indicate foul play.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. We know she didn't go to Dallas. We know she never picked up the kids. I was just trying to rationalize why she might have sent the text in the first place.

In regards to the cruise, it said ex was supposed to go but changed to boyfriend instead. Is a cruise like a plane where you can't change the name on the ticket? Also, after just dating 4 weeks, would he be that so IN LOVE with her that he would know everything about her and be the one front and center with LE? I find it hard to believe that she would be taking a stranger to go along on a trip that her children have not even met. To me that would confuse the heck out of them. In their eyes, mommy and daddy are living together so who is this other guy? Hope that makes sense. I had once started a new guy and a few weeks later was high school reunion in another state that was already planned, I was going alone. He was pissed and acted very jealous. I told him, you don't know these people or my family yet. WE broke up. Just hate clingy men and that is my opinion of the boyfriend.

I don't know these people but I agree with you. Also perhaps Crystal and boyfriend were dating longer -- maybe while divorce was pending; thus, the 4 weeks - 6 weeks and timeframe from BF could be off.

Also - why would the husband send her a text message at 8:05am saying just pick up kids at PNP (his work). He was irritated she hadn't arrived but more importantly those texts were NEVER READ!!

And, so does she have the kids? Are they missing? The husband sends another text about dishwasher but never once asked what happened why she didn't pick up the kids.

I just think that is easy to over analyze all this but go back to what we know! The text messages tell a HUGE STORY!

The 4-week dating thing does not bother me in the least..I am a prime example: I met my DH on a Friday night and he moved in 6 days later. And that was over 24 years ago. When it clicks, it clicks.

He maybe was trying to cover for the secret relationship and thus, he cannot keep the timeframe correct.

I'm just saying that they could've started dating in June and now only 1 month if that is how you want the narrative to be.

Why would the black bag be black on the inside video but not the black dress. I feel she had a different color dress on totally in the inside video. Not the same.

These are two different days. One is the night before.

So Crystal is telling her personal problems to the boyfriend after 1 month of dating???? NOT biying it.

He told GMA that Crystal told him that she and the ex have been fighting for days.

Jmo

Really?? Getting the exact timeframe of how long they were dating is NOT important.

Well, first the text to the husband about Dallas was sent the night before she went missing. She subsequently sent another one saying she would be taking the kids out since it only looked like rain. Out meaning out of the house if they wanted to go.

If she was evacuating as many people did, she was on her way to get her kids. So, are her kids missing? In your theory...

This is an intriguing case. In the absence of any really solid facts, I can only speculate.

1. I get a really bad feeling when I read that the missing woman has been separated from her cell phone.

2. I get a really, really, really bad feeling when the missing woman is a mother and she has not contacted her small children.

3. Most women who disappear intentionally pack a bag and take some cash, credit cards, or an ATM card.

4. Most women who are murdered are murdered by someone they know. http://www.vpc.org/press/more-than-1600-women-murdered-by-men-in-one-year-new-study-finds-2/ (I had always heard this, so I Googled for a reference.)

5. Which brings me to my concluding thought, based only on my opinion. Lovely Crystal was murdered and by someone she knew. IMHO.

YES! So sad, I'm from Houston. I do not know this family at all. But, this is not rocket science. We all have followed cases...follow the evidence.

The time stamps and this whole issue with those have already been discussed and by LE has acknowledged they know the time and have adjusted accordingly. Also most at home camera systems tend not to be always showing correct time. Say for instance the power goes out; clocks will need to be reset. Daylight savings, again they would need adjustment.

Bottom line is the different timestamps have already been figured out and confirmed to be 100 percent correct as to what BF said.

Crystal also left Paul's house at 7:00am. It would take her about 12-15 minutes to get home.

I merely suggested that she may have considered going to Dallas and then later changed her mind. Of course the kids are not missing because she never picked them up.

My apologies. I misunderstood!
